My deepest condolences to Mimi, the entire Dvorak family, and Adam for the loss of the legendary JCD. One of my treasured memories is driving John around Detroit after the first Michigan meetup in 2014. I was starstruck having grown up reading his columns. I played it as cool as I could. We talked about No Agenda, TWiT, Technology, Detroit history, and he complained about the cheap Nissan Versa rental car. We visited Michigan Central Station, John k king rare bookstore, and a couple of beautiful old churches. At the bookstore, told me to park in a no parking zone to be closer to the door and we got a parking ticket on the rental car while inside. Let them try to find me, he said, while crumpling up the ticket and tossing it in the back seat. Classic JCD. Thank you for the memories, John. You will be missed by so many.
