Dear Adam, thank you for taking the time to read my note on Thursday show. I was still in a state of shock when I wrote it, so it was very brief. After hearing so many wonderful notes in episode eighteen eighty eight, I wanted to take another shot at it. I first started listening to No Agenda back in the COVID days. I was confused and frustrated by our response to the virus as it didn't make any sense to me and hearing your takes on Rogan convinced me to give the show a listen. I finally fell in love with No Agenda. The format of the show, the way the news was deconstructed, the fun jingles, the whole presentation was amazing. I've been a loyal listener since, but I must admit, while I came for Adam Curry, I stayed for John C. Dvorak. I didn't know about his full career before I started listening, but I loved his deep knowledge of tech and politics. His snarky comments always made me laugh and his fun stories, experiences and insights were always great to hear. In fact, the font of this email is Georgia, one that John recommended. Every episode I look forward to whatever smart ass comment John would have chambered knowing it would make me smile. Thank you so much Adam for introducing him to me. Whenever I hear some news model or talk show guest talk about how horrible it would be in The US if The US didn't fund some BS program, I'll hear John sarcastically screaming, oh no in the background. Whenever I hear some tech CEO claiming that their new product will change the human race forever, I'll think of John saying, I'm smelling ketamine. I'll be thinking of John when I watch Sumo wondering if he would be happy that Aokineshiki has regained his Ozeki title. I think he would be. My family and I moved to Osaka, Japan about a year and a half ago disconnecting from The US corporate media and social media in general has shrunk my amygdala to the perfect size. Listening to No Agenda regularly would get me the real news coming out of The States, so I hope that the media deconstruction continues in some form. I can't think of anyone who does it better than you, I will be supporting you the entire way. My deepest condolences to you, the Dvorak family and everyone affected by his loss. Thank you for the years of insights and laughter. John, I wish it could have been more.
