- 1889 — Producer's Tribute to JCD$88.88
I started watching John on Silicon Spin, then followed him to Cranky Geeks and Twit. When No Agenda began, I was there for episode one. I was laid off in June 2014 and fell away from the show for a while, but I returned in November 2015. Since then, No Agenda has been my North Star for sanity. For years, I tried to hit people in the mouth. Sadly, I was only successful once, but they fell overboard. The combined wisdom and experience of John and Adam never ceased to amaze me. I always wished John would write a book filled with all his stories. They were incredible and John was always so insightful. I'll miss him forever. Throughout episode 1888, I found myself close to tears several times. I lost my dad on March 5 while driving to dinner that night. I started listening to No Agenda and immediately noticed that the introduction was different. Then I heard the news that John was in the hospital. I was so relieved that he recovered. On Wednesday afternoon, I received the newsletter and initially thought this subject line had to be clickbait. I could not believe it was real. The world would never be the same without John. For the past year, I had been listening to the show live and then listening to it all over again afterward. John's voice, stories, wisdom, and humor became part of the rhythm of my life. I'll forever miss John. PS, I know the city says Indianola on PayPal but I'm in the Pittsburgh area.
