Richard Gardner
About
Richard Gardner is one of those steady, no-fuss supporters whose name glides through the honor roll show after show — a reliable fifty-dollar friend of the program who lets the donation do the talking. With no notes to read aloud, he keeps things simple, and the hosts breeze right past his name in good company, tucked among the regulars like Aaron Weisgerber and Katrin van Tuyl. A quiet cornerstone of the value-for-value crowd.
- never leaves a note
- steady recurring donor
- consistently read among the same cluster of regulars

It has taken me days to finally sit down and write this. Learning of John's passing affected me more than I expected. My first donation to No Agenda was back on 12/19/2010, so I've been listening nearly twice a week for nearly seventeen years. You both have been such a big part of my life for so long that I can honestly say John had a tremendous impact on the man I have grown into. Our home is stocked with dozens of items he personally recommended over the years, even before the tip of the day. They now serve as wonderful reminders of John in my daily life. While I never made it to a meetup to see him in person, hearing him confidently state that I was definitely from New York City despite my donations coming from parts unknown always brings a smile to my face. There are far too many highlights to recall, but I have never laughed harder than when John did his Club thirty three bits. They were absolutely comedy gold. I fell behind on the show over the last few months and was listening at 1.2 times speed to catch up on the backlog. But with this week's news, I immediately reverted back to normal speed. I'm taking in every remaining second of John's wit and humor, enjoying it for the precious commodity it now is. Rest in peace dear Buzzkill. All my love to Adam and the Dvorak family.
