Hey, Adam and everyone. My sincerest condolences for the heavy loss of an incredible man. Your show and John were an amazing and calming influence throughout my life. The stories, the easygoing attitude of this has happened before made the world feel understandable. My wife who occasionally listens, loved John's stories, reactions and quips to the point where she was questioning whether she is truly a cranky old man on the inside. It was a pleasure to meet John at the Seattle Meet Up in August 2018. On the next show, 1059, he referred to me as the Russian card trick guy, which was hilarious. I will say it was hard to impress him even with my best close-up material, but that was expected for someone such with such incredible life experience as JCD.
