To Adam, Mimi, and all of John's family, my heartfelt condolences to all of you. I just don't really know how to put things adequately in simple words, but I know John was a stickler for the short note, I'll try to do it right. Like so many others, I first came across JCD on Twitter, then followed him to Cranky Geeks and then to No Agenda. Through all this time, he has been someone who not only informed and entertained me, but influenced the way I thought about the world around me. He was always a professional curmudgeon, but I always had the sense he presented himself that way with a quiet, perhaps even ironic smile deep down. I never had the chance to meet John in person. Although I almost did one time when I visited Leo's studio many years ago to watch an episode of TWIT. John was listed as a guest but unfortunately had to pull out at short notice. I would have so loved to have met him. I've been a No Agenda producer and donor since probably episode 70 and John has always been there each week like a longtime reliable friend. I always got a kick out of receiving a reply email from him, even if he didn't agree with me on whatever the topic was. Well, almost especially if he didn't. Like so many in the No Agenda family, I am heartbroken at the news of his passing. I am, though, grateful that it was peaceful, even more so for the legacy he leaves us all. I feel as though I've lost a friend. Adam, your tribute in episode 1,888 was beautiful. I was in tears. Much love and respect to you.
