0:00 We gotta have common sense.
0:02 Larry Blightner.
0:04 Darren O'Neill.
0:05 It's Sunday, 08/09/2026.
0:08 This is your Gitmo Nation Media Assassination episode eighteen ninety three.
0:12 This is No Agenda. Yes. We're broadcasting live from just outside of Chirac right here in FEMA region number five. In the morning, everybody, I'm Darren O'Neill.
0:22 And from the pretentious Connecticut shore, this is Larry Blydner keeping commies and creeps at bay with my gleaming scimitar of truth.
0:30 It's Darren and Larry. In the morning.
0:34 But was Billy Idol okay coming into that area? I mean, with all the commies. Man. Billy was dynamite. What a what a show. It was just electric. I I'm still amped up from it. I'm I'm I'm pretty dangerous, so watch yourself. Really, it was it was insane. It was Steve Stevens was on fire.
0:51 10,000 people screaming Billy. And you know what? That dude will be 71
0:57 this November,
0:59 And,
1:00 he moves like he's half that age and looks at he he took off his shirt and threw it into the crowd, and he he
1:06 didn't look really bad. You know? Like, wow.
1:08 Yeah. I'm not trying that anytime soon. That's It was it was absolutely spectacular.
1:13 I'm hoping maybe when Adam joins us later, maybe he's got a Billy Idol story. You know? He knew knew all those rock stars and stuff.
1:20 We will be joined, yeah, by the Podfather.
1:22 Dude, I got it. Okay. I wasn't I was gonna wait, but you're gonna ask me for a Billy Idol story. You You did
1:29 it. You nailed it. Nailed it, Larry.
1:32 Man, you know that, Billy Idol dated downtown Julie Brown.
1:37 Really?
1:38 Oh, yeah. And it was just creepy.
1:41 Those two, they were so
1:43 creepy together.
1:45 I was oh, how creepy. Can you give me this, like, a for instance? Just like, you know, just, like, just
1:52 tonguing each other in the hallways and go
1:55 get get a room, man. Get a it was nasty.
1:59 It well, she was kinda nasty. She I know she's I'm I'm sure she's very nice now. Yeah. Now that she's married to a big Hollywood producer. Oh. And, doesn't have to work.
2:08 In the morning to you, boys. How are you doing? In the morning there, Adam. Doing good. Great.
2:12 So glad. I,
2:14 yeah, I apologize. I don't sound like myself because,
2:17 this was a rare occasion where we traveled, and I didn't have to lug along the entire portable studio. I'm like, I'm not gonna have time. I'm
2:25 just gonna bring along my little Podmobile
2:27 plug in device.
2:30 You sound great. Really? Yeah. Thanks. You do.
2:34 Really? Okay. Yeah.
2:36 It's it's it's funny how in whenever you're setting something up, and I I I just have a little tripod for the microphone. I don't have a
2:43 I don't have my my boom arm. It's always you know, whenever you're looking for something
2:49 to build the studio with in a hotel room, it's always the trash can. For some reason, the trash can is always the perfect the perfect device. You know? So I got I got it on top of the the the trash can, exactly the right height. So, yeah, I'm here in, in San Francisco,
3:05 and, we were here for
3:07 John
3:09 Memorial yesterday.
3:11 And but first of all, man, there were memorials all over the world.
3:14 The the meetups that were taking place.
3:17 Horowitz did a did a big thing in Fort Lauderdale,
3:21 and he was doing,
3:23 like, John trivia,
3:24 and he had prizes
3:26 and all kinds of stuff.
3:28 And, we
3:30 have how what do we have, Darren? Like, five or six meetup reports already? 10.
3:34 10 already?
3:37 Which,
3:38 which I know you guys will will play later. I'm I'm just I'm literally
3:43 so tired that I I wish I could be here for the whole show, but I this was yesterday,
3:50 it just all came out. You know? It was like,
3:53 just,
3:54 the weeks honestly,
3:56 months because of John's earlier medical stuff and,
4:00 you know, just
4:02 dragging the cart along,
4:04 but, you know, with with lots of help from everybody and just really not know it was closure. It was big closure for me personally.
4:12 But it was so I mean,
4:14 maybe let's just do it chronologically.
4:16 Now we got in we flew out Friday,
4:19 from Austin. So that by itself is just such
4:23 a hassle, man. It's like an hour and forty five drive for us, and then, you know, Southwest was delayed
4:29 and just all so, anyway, we get in. We get into the hotel,
4:33 and we come in. We're in, like, 07:30,
4:37 and, Dana Bernet,
4:39 who doesn't know him, Hollywood producer of the biggest movies in the world, and his beautiful wife, Alex, they said, well, we'll come to the hotel. We'll grab some dinner. So, I mean, we had great,
4:50 great dinner with with Bernet. What he and his wife I'd I'd never met him in person.
4:55 Just a lovely, lovely guy. So No Agenda, so anti Hollywood.
5:01 He is one of us, man. I'll tell you that. He is one of us.
5:04 And
5:06 then the next day, everybody
5:09 was coming in. We had,
5:11 sir Mark and Dame, Astrid flew in from Tokyo,
5:13 which is just you know, they are the the Archduke and Archduchess of Japan,
5:18 and the the Japan Sea and all the disputed islands.
5:22 And, I mean, these these people, they've been listening since episode one. Wow. They've they've been with the show.
5:29 And for people who don't know them, you should just look up Ditham,
5:33 Klein Ditham Architects
5:35 in Tokyo.
5:36 They have done some of the most amazing buildings into I think they've probably done, like, 2025%
5:43 of Tokyo's most beautiful buildings,
5:46 like the
5:49 the Emperor's Library. You know, they did the I think they did the the Fender Guitar Building. Think it was the Fender Guitar Building. Yeah.
5:56 Sony Building. They've just done such amazing prod projects, and they're just lovely, lovely people. He's British. She's,
6:05 Swiss,
6:06 but they've both been in Japan forever.
6:09 Also flying in for this occasion was Void Zero, Mark, coming in from The Netherlands. Wow.
6:15 He I mean, just it was
6:17 I haven't seen him in,
6:20 a let twelve years last time since I saw him in person.
6:24 Sir Patrick Cobbler, of course, sir Patrick Cobbler is everywhere, every single place, anywhere there's something good to meet up. Sir Patrick Cobbler is always there.
6:33 So we hung hung out with them for a little bit, had a kind of a lunch.
6:39 I really couldn't eat much.
6:41 I knew I was going to be speaking. They that you know, they had me on the on the lineup for this gig.
6:49 And
6:51 so we all went to the, the chapel in Oakland. It's beautiful. Just thing is like, I don't know, must be a 100 over a 100 years old.
6:59 Probably about 70 people there.
7:02 And
7:04 as
7:05 you know, so Mimi said a few words. Eric De- became
7:10 up with his, with his wife, Janelle, from South Dakota. Eric people know Eric De- Schill. He used do the back office before, Jay came in to do that,
7:17 and, he was master of ceremonies.
7:21 Then,
7:22 Marty Higgins,
7:23 who wrote many of the jokes for,
7:27 for John and throughout the years. They've I they've they've been he's been friends with Mimi, I think, first for,
7:33 I don't know, forty years.
7:35 He did the eulogy.
7:37 It was kinda cool because he came to me later, and he says, you know, I have something for and the most of these people were as old as wood. I mean, they're all, like, in their seventies and eighties. I'll just be honest about it.
7:49 And Marty's like, you know, do you remember when John was doing the Confucius stuff? I'm like, yeah. I remember that. Do you remember that, Darren O'Leary, when John would open the show and he would do a Confucius says?
8:00 Well, I gotta find that. Was he was, yeah, he was doing this for maybe a month. Mhmm. And and they would be okay. You know? I think a Confucius says maybe it's not the great the best thing for an opening. But, anyway so Marty comes up to me. He says,
8:16 do you remember, the Confucius says stuff? I say, yeah. I said, well, I wrote those. Uh-huh. He said, you gotta understand the backstory.
8:23 John called me up one day and said, I got a a great idea for a book. I got a great idea for a book. It's a comedy book, and it's just filled with Confucius says.
8:32 And so and and Marty says, but I guess you didn't like it or something. I never knew it was supposed to be a book. John just was throwing this stuff at me. I'm like, okay. He gives me a list of 250
8:44 Confucius
8:44 says
8:45 that he wrote for that book,
8:48 and, I mean, they are so so
8:50 they're most of them,
8:52 I can't even read on the air. Right. They are I mean, when it starts with lesbian who curl hair, I mean, no. I'm just gonna I'm just gonna leave that one where it is. But, you know, so that
9:02 Did he do it with a Chinese accent?
9:06 Just just try John did it. John
9:09 did did tried to do it with a Chinese accent. That may have been part of the problem now that I think about it. Okay.
9:15 Alright. Yeah.
9:17 And, anyway,
9:19 so
9:20 Marty does the eulogy. Funny. I mean, he he's he's a he used to be Marty in the Morning. You know? He he did radio morning radio back in the
9:29 late seventies. So these are all just really interesting people. Then Brandon Jay's husband spoke, and he just had a lovely bit about, you know, how he asked John if he could marry Jay twice. And if you can only imagine how hilarious
9:44 that situation went both times.
9:47 Then
9:48 I
9:49 in my
9:50 piece
9:51 and it and then they had kind of an open mic,
9:54 which was appropriate because they were comedians and there were just wild and wacky people there. So Void Zero Void Zero was phenomenal. You know, the sysadmin who's always quiet and doesn't say much and he just kinda sits there and makes everything run. Yeah. Yeah. Man, Void Zero, we almost had to give him the hook. He wouldn't stop. Yet he had written 10,000
10:15 words, but it was all so it was oh, but it was all so beautiful.
10:20 And, you know, you could just tell,
10:23 how everyone had been affected by John. And then you got, like, the old PC
10:29 mag publishing days, which Mimi doesn't even know them. That predated her and John's relationship.
10:34 There were stories about how John had ghostwritten the the first book by Adam Osborne.
10:41 I mean, this is going back. Right?
10:44 Guys who were
10:45 in the original,
10:47 you know, deck days
10:49 of computing,
10:51 and everybody kind of had the same basic story about John where he'd call you up and go, hey. You know, that was how John called you on the phone and never called me. But, you know, the one time it hey. Hey, Dvorak. And and everybody had very similar stories.
11:05 Some people were just
11:07 like,
11:09 wow. That these guys exist.
11:12 You know? You know? That they really that they're from these old computer days, and they had stories about just, like, you know, devices and peripherals that you'd recognize and how John was, you know, just always
11:26 all on top of this. And and a common
11:29 theme,
11:30 you know, people
11:32 might often get the
11:34 and I've always known this, but it was said so perfectly by one of the speakers
11:38 that John,
11:40 it always sounded like he was just crapping on everything,
11:43 you know, like the mouse and the and the iPad and the Apple Watch and all
11:49 this stuff. And the point was made that John actually, because of how he wrote about these things,
11:56 drove people to make better products.
11:59 True. And I think that's true
12:01 that, you know, the just the way he would just
12:04 just drive a wedge into anything that people were trying to
12:09 make that was cool, including myself, by the way, when I would be so proud of the Howard Stern interview I did and he said, sucked. It sucked. He didn't mention the show didn't mention the show enough. I don't think he even mentioned me. You know, just on but and it made me better. And that was a very,
12:25 very clear message
12:27 from everybody. There was a
12:29 Oh, yeah. A couple of older comedians. Even with the art stuff. I mean, Dvorak was great. If he liked my stuff, it wasn't anywhere near as fun.
12:38 Exactly.
12:39 Yeah. And and and I I guess I knew that inherently.
12:43 Mhmm. But it's not until people started saying it that he was so you know, John could've
12:49 been a multi, multi, multimillionaire
12:52 because he had inside dirt on all products. He could've gone to work for any company, told them how to do it, but that wasn't what he did. He wrote about how these products sucked
13:03 because he felt they could be better. Now he didn't necessarily always say it would be better if, but that
13:10 was that really was a big part of his role in the world. And and I really came to appreciate that hearing that yesterday.
13:17 Oh, yeah. Not like computers became a thing.
13:20 Yeah.
13:21 It was all in thing, obviously. You think about the world that he actually molded with his words at the back of those PC magazines and elsewhere.
13:31 Yeah. It is quite amazing. It is.
13:34 It it all kind of came together for me when,
13:37 sir Patrick Cobbler,
13:39 and many of the No Agenda producers and artists were in on this, and they helped, crowdfund
13:46 it
13:47 and helped find
13:49 the different knickknacks. I posted it on x.
13:52 Sir Patrick Cole made two shadow boxes.
13:55 You know, shadow boxes.
13:56 I guess, typically, like,
13:59 you get one if you served in the armed forces or you had a child who was killed somewhere in the armed forces. You get, you know, this beautiful wooden box with glass in front and has the flag and their medals and their picture, etcetera.
14:11 And, you Patrick's an ex marine.
14:14 And these things, you've gotta zoom in on this picture. It had just all these different artifacts of John and of me and of No Agenda, including a an HO scale model of the Zephyr that had one of the, you know,
14:29 a mouse in there. It had an MTV patch. It had a first gen iPod.
14:35 You know, back in the day when John was taking digital pictures and always saying, your camera your camera your phone's camera sucks. Why do you use that? Of course, he was trying to make that better, and it did get better over time. You know, a little handheld digital camera.
14:49 One of his, Dvorak speaking
14:52 typing tutor software packages.
14:55 I mean, just it's such a lovely
14:58 I mean, I I couldn't hold it together, man, when he gave that to me. He's like and he even had it custom made for a suitcase because it had to fit in the suitcase for us to take it back.
15:09 Wow. I mean, that just I mean, no agenination, man. Just just it's so beautiful.
15:14 Nothing like it in the world. Nothing.
15:16 There really is nothing like it in the world.
15:19 Let me see if I got everybody in here.
15:22 Well,
15:23 so
15:26 what was I there was something another point I was gonna oh, yes. The Victoria Rakanye.
15:31 I don't know if you know who she is. She's like the CBS
15:35 CBS LA
15:39 entertainment reporter.
15:40 Okay. And I actually had forgotten this, but the one time I went to John's house, the one time I was invited and not allowed to go see the studio,
15:49 you know, was a Thanksgiving.
15:51 And he'd invited Victoria as well. She's this really, you know, cute Asian,
15:56 LA
15:56 reporter,
15:58 and she's like an undercover Republican Catholic, you know, of course could never let on about that doing her job, but John knew all about her.
16:06 And she and several other people,
16:10 I mean, would just stand up and say, you know, people don't understand how John helped me in my career. He would give me same thing that he's doing for the PC industry. He would critique my work, tell me what to do, but he would also make connections. Like, I'll call this person now. They're waiting for you. Helped so many people further their careers
16:28 that people don't even know about. So just, I mean, just unbelievably
16:34 beautiful to hear all of that. We've had a slideshow.
16:38 You know, there's the little urn sitting there, which I always find creepy. You know?
16:42 Oh, yeah. John's in there. There's no way he fits in there.
16:45 His kids were there, of course, and then we all walked down the street to Kona, Bar Kona, which is like a tiki bar.
16:53 The the lovely folks from, Violetta Pizza who, have a place right across the street, they brought in pizza.
16:59 You know, everybody was just hanging out and just just having a very, very, very good time. Dame Rita from Sparks Nevada
17:09 showed up. I mean, it's just it was mind blowing
17:13 how much love there was for John,
17:16 and I think it was really good that we all
17:19 just got to have some closure at this point.
17:23 And,
17:24 you know, at a certain point, Tina looks at me and she says, am I gonna have to carry you to the car? I said, yes.
17:29 So so
17:30 we we just had to we just had to go home and like, ugh. Now I'm staying here, today.
17:36 There's a lot of paperwork I've gotta help Mimi with because you can imagine not everything was all set up for this, for this moment in time.
17:44 So we have some, you know, bank bank stuff to do that she can't act
17:49 as bank accounts.
17:51 Nice. So it's worth like no passwords.
17:54 No.
17:55 No. We got the the passwords we got because, you know, she had always said, John, well, what if? And John said, no. You'll figure it out. Well, here we are. We're we're figuring it out. We are literally figuring it out. I mean, can you believe that? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. We're figuring it out. So, it was just great, and I'm I'm so looking forward to hearing the meet the meet up reports from everybody from around Gitmo Nation. And
18:18 without
18:19 exception,
18:19 everybody says, hey. I really like this combo
18:22 of Darren and Larry and Adam coming in.
18:26 It's a there's something going on here that
18:29 like, Patrick Cobbler had a I thought an interesting idea that, you know, if people we have so many boots on the ground. It's one of the secrets of No Agenda is we have somebody who's an expert in whatever the story of the day is,
18:42 and it's so easy for everybody to just record something. Maybe if you there's something going on, you can send it in. There might
18:49 be a way to work that into the show. I think, Darren, you already got three or four different new openings for, for the show. Yeah. Of course,
18:57 we can work on always more is good. More choices. Yeah. I see Mike Riley has just been reactivated.
19:03 He's doing he's doing art now. I mean, come on, man. This is awesome. It's a thank you No
19:09 Agenda Nation. It's just so so beautiful to see all of this happening.
19:13 Yeah. When the
19:15 star duke of the South came looking for artists for those shadow boxes, I'm like, well, you don't want me, but you want Mike Riley and Roger Roundy and a few others. And
19:23 Right.
19:25 You know, they're not the AI junkies, man. They know how to Mike Riley stuff is amazing.
19:31 Yeah. Thank you. Actually, I'm just just remembering now that I hit the bat signal, but I didn't post it on x. So why don't you guys talk amongst yourselves, and I'll do what I was supposed to do here? You gotta boost the toot. You got to, let everybody know the show's live. If you're not listening on a podcasting two point o app, you are missing out
19:48 because that way you get your notification
19:51 when the show goes live,
19:54 which you you wanna listen live.
19:56 Yeah. Absolutely. Have you have you guys been following Trump's hair? That seems to be the biggest news of the moment. It is a big going on with Trump's hair? I saw it got bigger.
20:06 What? It's gotten bigger? Something I I didn't see any photos, but I just saw something like it's blown out or some I don't know if he's looking to go,
20:14 maybe try out for the WNBA.
20:16 Who knows?
20:17 I think he, he needs a he needs a a stronger grade of of hairspray because it seems like it's blowing out of place a lot more easily. So I think that that might be part of it. Well, Larry, you say you always could see a toupee. Is this is this real? Can. That is my superpower. I don't if Adam knows that yet, but I could spot a rug from you know? Is Trump's a real person? No. I I I I do know this is your superpower. It's it's not quite as impressive as the vasectomy,
20:40 but it's it's an important skill to have.
20:43 That was that was really, really impressive. I gotta say that. No kidding. Vasectomy spotting like, what?
20:50 So I I but I I did I recall that it was, like, the the underpinning of that was the reduced t counts or something, and then so they didn't quite
20:58 comport themselves with as much masculinity as a unvasectomized
21:02 guy would or what that what what did he base that on? Oh, the history was that vasectomies were done
21:08 back
21:09 in the back in the day, I don't know, eighteen hundreds. I I forget what century, were were performed as a
21:17 a youth making experience to make someone appear younger. So, you know, kind of like the Botox of the day. Right. Seems a little more painful, but that was the it was the Botox of the day to
21:29 make men, you know, men want to look and but even then, you know, back in those seventeen, eighteen hundreds, you wanted to look a little feminine. That was kind of sexy of the day. Maybe that's been, Billy Idol's secret. That's why let's see. Is Steve
21:42 Stevens still playing with Billy? Oh my god. Is he playing? You know what? That guy tell me riddle me this. Why is that guy's name not up there with Hendrix and Clapton and Beck's? I mean, he is Should absolutely
21:54 be there. That so I interviewed him Did you? Back in the oh, yeah. Late eighties. And he came into the studio because, you know, I think it was it might have been Headbangers ball. I don't remember. And
22:04 this is you remember these days, Larry, back in the day, like, when when even the VJs got golden platinum records and, like, hey. Thanks for thanks for helping, son. Here's something to hang on your wall. Yeah. And he came in and he gave me a
22:18 his signature Steve Stevens, a Hammer guitar.
22:21 Oh. I still have it. I still have it. It's signed by sound by Steve Steve Stevens. Yeah. Then he was That's cool. Just a nice guy. Yeah. Yeah. That's so New York. Right? That his New York accent. Very much. No. He literally walked down the street. Oh, he just walked down the street to the studio. No. Had a guitar case. Here, Adam. You doing? These guys were all very, very New York. Very New York. Love that about him. Yeah. And then there's if there's a classic guitar story,
22:47 Joe Satriani
22:49 Mhmm. Who I think is also just virtuoso.
22:51 The guy is so good. You can look it up on YouTube.
22:55 There's two versions. There's a longer version,
22:58 and he and he's gonna give me guitar lessons. He's gonna show me no. I'm not actually holding a guitar, but he's he has a guitar. He says, okay, Adam. And he says, now this is me does some.
23:09 And he does a little bit of stuff back and forth, but that's not really what makes you a great guitar player. And here's something you could practice, Adam. You've gotta make your faces.
23:17 So it was teaching you the right face the
23:20 right
23:22 face to make when you hit oh, when you hit when you hit this one, you go, you gotta you gotta pull your lips back like that, and you gotta close
23:29 your eyes.
23:31 That's what makes a great guitar player right there. That's great stuff.
23:35 Yeah. You can have the sound. It's not in the gear. I mean, Ted Nugent told a story about Eddie Van Halen where when he met him, he's like, you know, how do you get that sound? Eddie Eddie handed him his guitar. He's like, I played it. I sound like Ted Nugent still. I don't know how he,
23:48 you know, made those sound you know, sounds. It wasn't trickery. It wasn't gear. It was just pure talent in the way he played. Yeah.
23:56 Talent and tone, man. That's what it is. Yes. Mhmm. And the tone comes in the hands.
24:00 Yes. It does. Yeah.
24:03 You cannot I felt bad for the, the rhythm guitarist on stage with Billy because, I mean, the guy was very good, but nobody cared. It's just, you know Yeah. Yeah. He's getting paid to stand in the back and strum a few chords. And Billy, he had a couple of business backing him up. They they were unbelievable, these chicks. Oh my god. They were they were so fantastic. It was really it was one of the best shows I've ever ever seen.
24:24 Really, really great. Yeah.
24:26 Glad he's still around. I mean, that guy has the
24:30 Was this the Westbury Music Fair? No. This was this was at the was at the Mohegan Sun Hotel Casino.
24:37 And I had to laugh laugh like hell because a couple of times during the show,
24:42 the the hotel was located in a little dinky town called Uncasville,
24:46 Connecticut. Right? And a couple of times, he was doing songs, and he would shoehorn in
24:52 the words Uncasville,
24:54 Connecticut.
24:55 And so when we left, they turned to my wife. I said I said I said to her, why the hell did he keep saying I can spell Connecticut?
25:02 Oh,
25:03 I That's what
25:05 That's what I heard. Yeah. Oh, no. Yeah. He was basically doing
25:09 hello Cleveland, and you miss something. That's great. Okay. Got it. Yeah. Nice. So Logan five in the showroom is talking about the gold and platinum records. I just need to say something about that.
25:20 In the early days, you actually could take the gold or platinum record out of the case, and you could play it however
25:30 you had to play it backwards
25:32 because it was a gold or platinum plated version of guess they call it the mother.
25:38 So So it an inverse. Right? Inverse. Yeah. So so you literally had to play it backwards, but they did play.
25:46 They actually did play. Later,
25:48 it was just
25:49 crap. I mean, I still mine still have
25:52 I had later, I got the CD versions from Michael Jackson and Aerosmith, which is those are some of my I like those because I can always, you know, connect the story to it.
26:01 But I have a lot of the old school platinum and gold records, and they all have,
26:06 a little cassette stuck to the
26:09 the right hand bottom corner, you know, because it also sold on cassette back in the day. And those, of course, over the years have, you know, come unglued and dropped, and they're kind of loose in the case.
26:18 It's just No. It's If you Memorabilia is fun. If you play them forward, would they reveal the masked satanic lyrics? Would you I buried Paul. Yeah.
26:29 I always just assumed those were, you know, made up, and they weren't actually the album. So it's good to know they actually took a copy of the album and and made the awards. They did. For a while. For a while. But it got old, and they didn't do that anymore.
26:43 And then the whole industry changed, and nobody buys music anymore.
26:47 No. Well, you still do. Right? You buy a lot of vinyl. Oh, well, the vinyl. Yeah. Now that's the You know what's crazy?
26:53 You know how Spotify Spotify
26:55 is in a very
26:57 difficult position with podcasts
27:00 because
27:01 they are also, you know, owned by
27:04 I mean, it's public company, but a lot of the insiders who own shares early on were the
27:10 publishing companies and the record companies who own the rights to all this music, which is why artists
27:15 really don't get paid very well because they don't own their publishing. You know, Sound Exchange came in and so there is some money, but that whole the whole system is screwy because they just put it into a big pot and then they divide it up by plays.
27:28 So the whole
27:29 thing is corrupt and no good. But
27:32 we were never on Spotify with the show because they
27:36 they had an early contract that said, first of all, signing a contract with a with a basically a podcast app. I'm like, no. Right. That's not gonna do that.
27:45 Then then they and they'd put us on and, you know, they could play ads
27:50 in front of our podcast.
27:51 Like, no, I don't want that. So but I went through all kinds of hoops to get us taken off and we got finally got taken off. Then I guess it was, like, a year ago or something, and we were talking about, no. I'll put us back on Spotify,
28:03 which, of course,
28:05 couldn't happen because somewhere in their database, said never import the
28:09 feed because
28:11 those guys are dicks. So, you know, you don't want them.
28:14 They got that undone.
28:16 But then,
28:17 we've had episode after episode
28:20 taken off
28:22 because of a violation
28:24 of music copyrights. You cannot have any
28:28 music
28:29 Mhmm.
28:30 In your podcast,
28:31 on Spotify. And at first, I thought it was, you know, just any music that was detecting something. I know that we we have some songs that are technically completely legal because it's parody Right. Of an existing song, and it's within the context of the show. So we're not releasing it as a separate entity.
28:51 But the other day, got two, and I'm like, what is going on? What what are they striking us off? And, you know, you can appeal it. Yeah. I'm gonna click that link. No. Whatever. You should use a real podcast app.
29:02 What's happening
29:03 is people who do end of show mixes
29:06 are also
29:08 submitting their
29:10 songs to Spotify for people to enjoy them. So now we're in the Spotify music database.
29:15 They see that we're playing that on our show. Boom. Violation. You're out. No. I see. I would have thought it was sir Chris Wilson because he's done a few parodies that are, you know, again, songs that everybody would know, but putting his spin on it, which that I kind of understand getting clipped before, but, yeah, not
29:33 not AI slob. I had to I had to research it. I'm like, oh, I see what's happening. But, you know, again, if Spotify were were doing the right thing, then, you know, not just doing algorithmic detection,
29:45 you know, we have it is completely within the fair use
29:51 clause of the copyright law to do a parody of an existing song within the con you know, not releasing it ourselves, but within the context
29:59 of a
30:01 of an educational
30:02 program, which, of course, No Agenda is.
30:05 But we'll we'll never we'll never get over that hurdle. So just get a modern podcast out, people. I was once so Spotify by John Dvorak, Adam. You know?
30:14 This this went back I'm serious. This went back to yeah. At the very height of the COVID thing,
30:20 I sent you a couple of
30:22 end of show songs. And this one was kind of it was a it was a it was a, of course, a parody of teacher children.
30:28 No AI, all my own guitar tracks, vocals, whatever. And you dug it so much that somewhere maybe forty, fifty minutes into it when you mentioned that of show show mixes, you said, here's something that came in from from that Larry guy. This is really cool. And you got maybe
30:42 maybe one and a half bars played.
30:44 And John goes, that goes at the end of the show. And I thought, wait. He really he really is Buzzkill. Wow. Thank you, John.
30:54 I gotta dig that one up, Larry. I completely forgot about that. Yeah. It's it's amazing how people come up to me and say, hey. Remember that episode when? And and I just go blank. I'm like Of course. I gotta tell you, man. I really don't remember this at all. It was very funny. Oh,
31:11 man. Oh, man.
31:13 So Yeah. Anyway, I appreciate you guys holding down the fort, and,
31:17 I look forward to, you know, joining on Thursday. I'll be fresh,
31:22 ready to do some media deconstruction with you. The closure for me in this in in in in this weekend
31:29 here has been that, you know, of course, I want to be you know, I'm still producing
31:35 for you guys doing clips and and bringing you information,
31:38 and I wanna I always wanna be a part of this show certainly on Thursdays.
31:42 But I do have a calling to do more with we get to do this with pastor pastor Jimmy. I'm just gonna be honest. You know, I'm
31:50 61.
31:51 Things happened to me a couple years ago, so I am going to continue to build that up as well. But, I'm more convinced than ever,
31:58 that No Agenda Nation will get through this, will become healthier,
32:02 will become, I believe, even stronger and bigger.
32:06 And, I like the I like kind of the troika thing Mhmm. That you guys have started to develop here. And I, we talked the other day, I encourage you to, look at some of the the people in No Agenda Nation for maybe joining you on Sunday.
32:20 Something is changing here, and I got I got it feels good to me. It feels like good things are happening.
32:26 Like the old morning zoos, but actually funny?
32:29 Oh god. Thank you. Exactly. And and without the the bullcrap,
32:33 what what was for time there, every single morning zoo, which, by the way, morning radio guys, ninety percent are overweight.
32:41 This is just a fact of life. True. Yes. And it was the Nutrisystem.
32:45 And they'd all lead into this. You know, it's like today, the podcasts have,
32:50 you know, if you're worried about the Muslims taking over Texas, you might wanna buy some gold. I mean, this is every single podcast does this now. And those guys would ought to be like, well, you know
32:59 you know, Ross,
33:02 I I was stood on the scale this morning and, oh, it's all water weight. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And they blew up. But, you know, I've been on the Nutrisystem, and it's been
33:09 fantastic
33:10 for me. None of these guys ever got under three hundred pounds. Okay? No. It never ever ever works. So without all that lameness,
33:17 without the joke guy,
33:19 you know, without the Yeah. Without the the the black guy who does sports, it was also racist, these morning zoos, without the hot sounding news lady who was never hot looking. Never hot. We need we need that. Was was that Ross you mentioned? Ross Britton?
33:33 Ross Britton. Yeah. You know exactly who I'm to at Gitmo. I know Ross very well. And, I used to write shtick for the z when it first started with him, and I figured it was partners. No kidding.
33:43 Oh, yeah. Yeah. This is going way back.
33:46 And, I won't tell you now, but Ross then duped me into a job
33:50 at WNEW
33:51 AM
33:52 from which I was eventually fired
33:55 by proxy
33:56 by Sinatra.
33:57 Wow. I'll that story another time. It's absolutely true. Yes. I believe it. I believe it. Yeah. But Ross was a good guy, but the z mornings used to drive me nuts. I'm with Is he is he still is he still alive?
34:09 I think he is. You know, I I saw him, like, on Facebook a couple years back, and he was doing morning drive on I forget who that was. It was it still in New York Station. Ross is a good guy. I liked him a lot. Yeah. He's a good friend. It was now they had mister Leonard. Do you remember mister Leonard? Mister Leonard. Yeah. I'm mister Leonard again. Of course, I remember mister Mister this guy had a super gig. Mister
34:29 Leonard was, again, a guy who was at least three hundred pounds and four foot ten.
34:35 And he it's mister Leonard. And he had this voice and Yeah. He it was funny. I mean, he had funny bits, but he would call 15 stations a day.
34:46 And but he would call them from the station he was visiting.
34:49 Mhmm. But mister it sounded like mister Leonard lived in New York. He drove a line, Green Pinto.
34:55 The guy lived in Philly, I think. And
34:57 and, you know, so he'd be for a week, he'd be at z 100. And and
35:01 when he wasn't doing his little shtick, he'd call these other 15 stations. And the next week, he'd be in San Diego or wherever. I mean, the guy
35:10 had an unbelievable
35:11 gig just, you know, being this one character on all these radio stations back when
35:16 radio stations were local. You know? When you just had a local station, you had your local guys. Now it's like Elvis Duran in the morning. Good morning, San Francisco. Good morning, Dallas. Good morning, Philadelphia.
35:28 You know? Yeah.
35:30 Become so homogenized and crappy that,
35:33 I'm glad that, you know, we have a podcast like ours. Absolutely. It's it's all Jack FM accent on the Jack. It is. It is. Straight
35:41 up.
35:42 Up. Straight up.
35:46 Amazing. This is, the more you're gonna find out about Larry. I mean, he's probably on the mob's hit list if he had Sinatra got him fired.
35:54 So talking about last
35:55 night, we're taking an Uber back from
35:59 from Oakland,
36:00 and we're sitting in the back. We're tired. And we're hearing all these songs,
36:05 and and Tina says, I miss George Michael. See, I miss him too. This, you know,
36:10 like, one of his ballad songs. And then another song comes on, and I'm like, oh, this is this is Linda Ronstadt with that black guy who had, like, the big mole above his eye. Hebo Bryson?
36:21 Or No. No. Aaron Neville. Aaron Neville. And so we're trying to figure, like, who what was that guy's name? And the driver says, Aaron Neville. I said, yeah, Ben. But you're looking
36:30 up there at the display. He says, no. This is my playlist.
36:33 And he has a little bit of an accent. And so older guy.
36:36 And and so, of course, we're talking to him, and he's like, well, you know,
36:41 I I had a drink with San Fran with the with the Frank Sinatra
36:47 Mhmm. When I was running the
36:49 on, like, the Starz restaurant.
36:51 And he, you know, pulls up his phone. Sure enough sure enough, there he is. Him and Frank Sinatra having a drink and tuxedos,
36:59 and and now you can just see this guy. He's, you know, he's he's gotta be in his seventies driving the Uber, telling everybody about the good old days with Frank. That's your future, Larry. There it is. Thank you. He was driving an Uber.
37:12 A good driver. Driving an Uber, talking about your days with Frank.
37:16 I thought you got fired by Frank
37:18 while while podcasting live from the driver's seat. There you go. There you go. Yeah.
37:23 Oh, god. Anyway, guys, I'm gonna I'm gonna bow out. I'm about reaching the end of the energy I've got here. I just wanna thank everybody for all the emails,
37:32 the direct messages, the text messages. You've been wonderful. Can't wait to see you guys on thirty on Thursday. And, Darren and Larry, love you guys. We'll talk to you in the week. And take care of yourself. Look forward to it, and thanks for the report.
37:46 Adios, mofos. And such. Adios and such.
37:51 I don't know how you follow that. But We're gonna try. We'll do we'll do just fine. What a what a pleasant interlude that was. Yeah. You got your Billy Idol story.
38:01 Got my Billy Idol story. Yeah. It was wow. Who knew who knew that would lead to to to all that? What a what a glorious detour we took. And I've been on Adam since he mentioned that Steve Stevens guitar sitting in his studio. I'm like, you gotta learn how to play. He does. And I was I was looking very close. I I had, like, kissed the stage seats last night. It was amazing.
38:21 And and, of course, they had the big video screens flanking it. But he's he's got a whole signature deal with a Canadian guitar company, I think, called Godin or Godin. I don't know. Whatever. G o d I n.
38:31 And and a couple of them are really oddballs. You know? They they've got open headstocks and nylon strings on them and wow. But everything everything that guy touches sounds great because he's great. Yeah. I'm sure there's still money in that getting guitar
38:44 Oh, got to to make a signature model. I mean, it's sad that less and less people are actually playing instruments,
38:51 but Yeah. Yeah.
38:53 Really can't reproduce
38:54 that when going out live, which is why a lot of these guys are in their fifties, sixties, seventies, or some even in their eighties. I mean, Willie Nelson out there in his nineties now playing. It's like,
39:05 it's a dying breed. That's for sure. Hope I'm hoping it comes back because you can't replace it with
39:10 and it's not just AI, but you can't replace it with the electronic music and all the synthesized stuff.
39:19 I have a Willie story if you want that. I mean, why not? Before we get into real news deconstruction.
39:24 Yeah.
39:25 I I met him a long time ago when I when I was fronting a country band
39:29 back in the good olds. And I think, yeah, Adam mentioned Westbury
39:33 Music Fair, which was a very small venue. It's only a couple of thousand people, and it was a a stage that revolved in a circle.
39:40 So there were no bad seats. None. And it was such a different world back then without psychos in every corner Well yeah. That, you know, my my my band it it the Cadillac Cowboys and my partner. His name was Pontiac Pete.
39:52 And he goes, hey, man. Let's go try to find Willie. Okay. So we just Of course. Why not? You know, why not? So we left we left the arena and walked around the side,
40:01 and, there was Willie just, you know, standing by the tour bus, hanging out. We walked was he was all alone, walked right up, introduced ourselves. He looks at me and goes, oh, another redhead.
40:10 That's what it was back then.
40:11 So so but but years
40:13 I saw Willie again many years many years later in LA in a little club, 20 miles north of my house called,
40:21 what? I forget what that was called. And Willie was much obviously, we were all much much older by then.
40:27 And he did his show like he was under sniper fire. I mean, he didn't even wait for the applause between songs. It like was so it must have been like a because it wasn't announced. It was suddenly a last minute thing. I'm driving down the Ventura Freeway, and I see appearing tonight, Willie Nelson. I'm a I'm a Willie fan. I didn't know of that if there was advance notice, but there was so somebody must have dropped out. Willie was in the neighborhood, and they said, do you want a gig? That's probably how it went down.
40:51 And he's probably he was probably pushing 80 by then. You know? And he's not Billy Idol. He didn't quite look that good.
40:58 And so at the end of the show,
41:00 it's swarmed by chicks who are, you know, 21 to 30 leaping up on stage,
41:06 handing him Sharpies,
41:08 and pulling down their tops so he can autograph their boobs.
41:13 I'm Kevin McLaughlin. You hearing that, buddy? I'm and I'm looking in this, and I'm thinking, if this guy wasn't a massive music star,
41:21 and he even spoke to any of these girls at the check stand at the supermarket,
41:25 they'd dial 911.
41:27 You know? This is the power of music and stardom. Yeah. This is the problem. This is a play learn how to play the guitar, kids. Exactly. Exactly. Absolutely.
41:36 And Willie, I've seen him in concert a few times, and he could this is part of even Elvis later in his career when they would rip through a five minute song in a minute flat. You know? It's
41:46 you know, some artists are a little different live. Willie was good, but, you
41:51 know, I I get it when you got, like, 8,000 hits, you gotta
41:55 hit as much as you can in a live show.
41:58 You do. We do. Now you're starting us with a depressing story out in Michigan?
42:03 Well Is this
42:06 Somebody
42:07 commented. I love how much Larry hates commies. That what I think is one of the
42:12 one of the reviews that popped up on one of the podcasts.
42:15 I I take that as a great compliment. I hate them with no apologies either. None whatsoever.
42:20 Yeah. This must be that El Sayed guy. Right? Yes. Okay. So so he's he's going to speak about, how glorious he is and how he's going to fix everything, including Medicare.
42:30 And did you know, Darren? Did you know the problem that
42:34 problem with Medicare is racism?
42:37 Isn't everything? Isn't that the problem now, racism? I guess, but I didn't know it applied to Medicare, but now now we're about to find that how true that is.
42:45 One of the biggest challenges that we have when it comes to racial inequalities in health, which is the area of my expertise is what I studied, I wrote my dissertation on,
42:54 is that we have a
42:56 multi class health care system. So
42:59 even if you have coverage on Medicaid, Medicaid reimburses at nearly half the rate as private health insurance.
43:04 So healthcare companies are like, I'm so sorry, but you're paying half the rate.
43:08 So you get discriminated against at the point of care. And too often in urban communities,
43:13 because of
43:15 structural racism, because of
43:17 the circumstances of segregation,
43:19 you end up having situations where you may have health insurance through Medicaid, but you don't have health care
43:25 because you can't get your Medicaid accepted
43:27 where you need to get care.
43:29 No. There you have that. Right? Well,
43:32 new wrinkle was uncovered.
43:34 He has a wife who is a psychiatrist. Her name is Sarah Jakuku.
43:39 I'm not Oh, you can't make that up. It's I'm sorry. I mispronounced Jakuku.
43:42 Oh, that's different. J u k a k u.
43:45 And she runs a private practice in Ann Arbor called, Mind Works Psychiatry.
43:50 And as I was reading this, I thought I wish I I wish Darren had, a theremin clip to put in. You
43:56 know, mind works psychiatry.
43:58 Anyway,
43:59 here's the kicker, man. This guy's beefing about oh,
44:02 I knew you could do it, man. If anybody
44:05 beautiful.
44:07 The Podfather provides all clips. Oh, that's great. So she opted out of Medicare in 2025.
44:14 Oh, let me back up a second. His their income, their family income for last year was about $700,
44:20 almost all of it hers.
44:22 So she's doing real well with the Mindworks psychiatry.
44:25 She opted out of Medicare in 2025 according to records reported by the Washington Free Beacon.
44:31 So she can't bill the program, and she's not listed as an eligible provider
44:35 on any of the insurance plans that provide coverage for Medicare.
44:41 So, you know, she's she's exactly the type of physician
44:44 or or shrink
44:46 that, her husband
44:48 is, is deriding.
44:50 So she's not taking Medicare or Medicaid patients. No. You know, only for special people. You know? So then there's more. It says,
44:57 Mindworks website notes that quote doctor Jukaku is out of network for all insurance companies,
45:03 meaning patients must pay out of pocket for her services,
45:06 something, quote, black and brown folks who are low income, as Elsa had put it, are unlikely to be able to afford. So just for the hell of it, I went to the site, and guess what I saw?
45:17 It says,
45:19 this site is currently private. It's the owner contributor login.
45:25 You had to pull that. You always know it's bad when the social media or the website disappears.
45:30 Yeah. And I've I you know, I should probably throw it into somebody's lap who knows what they're doing like you. But I I went to, what's that thing? The Wayback Machine and several other clones of that saying, you know, maybe somebody's got some pages on what it looked like before they Right. Walled it off, but couldn't find a damn thing.
45:46 Well, that's it. That's all. That's it. Everything has been turned into
45:51 it's racist.
45:52 Yes.
45:53 It is
45:55 the medical system in this country
45:57 is flawed. I don't think anybody is going to argue
46:01 that it is the perfect system that anybody's ever come up with. No. I mean, I remember hearing, you know, guys like Rush Limbaugh talking about, well, I don't really have insurance. I just have enough money that if anything goes wrong,
46:14 you know, I can afford to pay for it. So you've got that level of people,
46:19 and then you go all the way down to the lowest common denominator. And, yeah, there are things that aren't perfect, but I really
46:26 have yet to see any evidence that anything
46:29 is going to be
46:31 approved
46:32 based upon the color of somebody's skin and disapproved for the reason of the color of their skin. It's like it doesn't Yeah.
46:40 Happen that it show I mean, again, people throw these kind of things out there. It's why the left loves throwing it out there because they know, one,
46:48 there are going to be some people that just believe it.
46:52 Sure. And then it's also going to be in the world now, which is the AI brain.
46:57 That's exactly right. It's gonna pop up on, chat GPT. You know that. Of course. Yeah. Yes. It has to eventually
47:05 at some point or not.
47:06 And as you pointed out last time, this is why they absolute flood
47:09 everything with their crap knowing
47:12 if the seepage is gonna be fast and thick
47:14 into
47:15 AI.
47:16 So
47:18 It's just the way it's going to be. Yeah. No there's no question about it. No. No. So Now does the, the next clip go with that one, or is that
47:28 That
47:29 would be, this is this is a different one. If you
47:34 you're talking about the Jason Arday clip? Yeah. Let's hop into that one that we can do. Have a a quick three by three in honor of JCD.
47:42 Alright. Okay. This is, this is this is it's an interesting story. Before before I get to Jason, this is this is basically
47:49 Brit Great Britain's answer to George Santos. Remember the Santos guy? In New York, the liar, the compulsive liar that got elected as
47:58 a republican.
47:59 Yes. Very bad glasses.
48:01 Very bad glasses. And so the guy had this litany of lies that were mind blowing. Like, he he claimed he graduated from Baruch College and got an MBA from New York University.
48:10 Both said, never heard of him. He said he worked at Goldman Sachs and Citicorp. They said, never heard of him. He said he and his family's owned 13 rental properties. Never happened. He said he was a volleyball star at Baruch, but, of course, how could that happen?
48:24 Nobody ever fact checks. Right? I guess they finally did. And then he see he established an animal charity that brought in a lot of a lot of a lot of a lot of yen for the our four legged friends. Right? But finally, they caught up with him. And interestingly enough, when they said, what what the hell are you doing? And his his answer was,
48:44 most people lie on their resumes.
48:47 Okay. Not wrong. He's not wrong. He's not wrong. So at the same time that, you know, this went on two or three years ago with
48:55 with this guy with
49:00 come on, brain work, with Santos. With Santos. Santos. Then this guy, Ardet, was just hit the hit the the papers or the websites, I should say.
49:10 And he obviously was thinking hold my beer when that went on. So there's a this this
49:15 is this is a this clip is one of his academic
49:19 sycophants
49:20 introducing
49:21 him. Okay. This this is an when I heard this woman speaking, I'm thinking, you know, when she's gonna drop the name at the end of her rap, it's gotta be Jesus. I mean, really,
49:31 listen to what she has to say. I'm Rajni Naidu. I'm vice president for community and inclusion,
49:38 a UNESCO chair and co director of the International Center for Higher Education at the University of BAW.
49:46 So it's a great, great, great pleasure
49:49 to welcome
49:50 Professor
49:51 Jason Arde.
49:52 Jason is Professor of Sociology of Education at the University of Glasgow.
49:58 Previously,
49:59 he was Associate Professor in Sociology
50:02 at Durham University
50:04 and the Deputy Executive Dean for People and Culture.
50:08 He is a visiting and honorary professor at many, many universities,
50:13 including Ohio State in The US,
50:16 Durham in The UK and Nelson Mandela University in South Africa.
50:22 Jason also holds
50:24 numerous trusteeships,
50:26 including at the Runnymede Trust,
50:29 which is The UK's leading race equality think tank.
50:33 Jason is also a fellow of the
50:36 RSA.
50:37 Oh my god. She keeps going on and on and on. It's beyond
50:41 belief. Yeah. Yeah.
50:43 Is that all she had to say? There something else? There's another twenty seconds, but I'd say You know, we've heard enough. This is a good hell of an introduction. I mean Oh, it's it's beyond oh, and then she says he's like, and it's a spectacular scholar. Blah blah blah. Right. So, anyway, so he Well, I'm just thinking, Larry. We can change our intro to this show to be, an hour long, and then that's less work.
51:02 I like that. That's a hell of an idea. We need long intros.
51:05 Yeah. Yeah.
51:07 So, anyway, Jason, he actually like I said, he he made Santos look like an amateur. Here's here's a just a quick rundown of of the lies he told. First, he said that he was a start of of star of a famous British documentary called
51:20 seven Up,
51:21 But the only problem is that he
51:24 was born twenty one years after
51:26 the documentary
51:27 was was filmed.
51:29 Then he claimed he was autistic and nonverbal until the age of 11. Other witnesses disproved
51:34 that. He you'll like this one. Did you know he ran 30 marathons
51:38 in just thirty five days?
51:40 Wow.
51:41 I guess and I think maybe he was thinking like that's a little tough to you know, the other people are in those marathons. You know, there could be like a registry or something for them. So then he followed up with, I also ran 600 miles in six days on a treadmill,
51:53 because treadmills don't talk, and they don't keep records. Right? Says he raised raised millions of pounds for various charities, overcame a brain tumor while completing his PhD.
52:03 Then they found out that there were hundreds of passages in his dissertation that were plagiarized.
52:09 Right?
52:10 So he didn't he didn't dispute
52:12 being a plagiarist.
52:14 But what he no. What he did see, he defended himself by saying that he had not received adequate supervision
52:21 during his PhD
52:22 given his autism and learning disabilities.
52:25 Wow.
52:26 Yeah.
52:27 And it just goes on and on. And, so but the funny thing is just like Santos,
52:33 when they kind of, you know, held his feet to the fire, he said, well, to be honest with you, I I thought you'd just believe me.
52:40 So
52:41 but here's seen it happen. We've seen it happen. Here's the big ironic kick in the ass to Simon and Schuster,
52:47 which is about to publish
52:49 his book
52:51 very soon, August 11. It drops in The USA.
52:54 You can't believe this title.
52:56 Great and unfortunate things.
53:00 I feel you can't make this up. So This is the new world we're living in where information
53:06 misinformation
53:07 is more prevalent.
53:09 But this guy is, like, barely 40. Okay? He's an Internet child. He was, you know, raised in it. How how can he be that stupid? I mean, you can't do anything today without it being documented by someone in some way somewhere. Right?
53:22 So Unless you're planting the backstory. Now this was when people started pulling scams on the Internet.
53:29 They would create a website with fake bios and fake information. So when people went to look it up, they'd find them and be like, oh, it must be true.
53:37 Yeah. This has just been multiplied now by,
53:41 I don't know, a million more.
53:43 This guy's he running for office like Santos? Or No. No. He's I think he's running for cover. He's just It's like trying to sell books? He's a I guess.
53:53 Well, I mean, I guess if you're going to pad your
53:56 your resume,
53:57 sometimes you need more than just a blurb from JCD on the book. You need Yeah.
54:02 A lot of blurbs that
54:05 that really come from nobody.
54:08 Yeah.
54:08 And now it's time for three by three
54:11 experiment
54:12 by JCD
54:14 comparing stories from ABC,
54:17 CBS, and NBC.
54:22 Yeah. John C. Dvorak created it, but I think we can use it every now and then because it's a valuable way
54:28 to look at what the media is saying about certain topics. In this case, Larry, it is the Trump Ballroom.
54:37 And, we'll start with the Trump friendly
54:40 Fox News.
54:42 Hi, Shannon. A lot of updates on this story. Two of the panel's
54:46 three judges ruled today that president Trump does not have the unilateral authority to knock down the East Wing almost a year ago to build the new 90,000 square foot ballroom, which includes an underground military bunker. The majority of the judges wrote, we are aware of no instance in American history in which a president unilaterally
55:06 and using privately collected funds demolished substantial portions of the White House that Congress authorized to be built and American tax payers paid for until now. The president says he will appeal to the Supreme Court adding, the military and Secret Service are viewing this horrendous politically motivated and unlawful ruling as a national security threat to our nation. In that the entire complex is being built for the protection of our country. Now Shannon, the ballroom is just one of several ways the president is trying to leave a lasting mark on the nation's capital. The 250 foot Archie's proposing between the Lincoln Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery has yet to take shape. But a recent National Park Service assessment points out the structure would change the views of dozens of historic sites. Like the ballroom, there's a lawsuit aimed at blocking the arch. President Trump is also having a new helipad built for Marine One to land on the South Lawn. And there are reports he's already changed his mind a few times on that, Shannon, after construction
56:06 has already gotten underway.
56:08 No. Not when Donald Trump would ever change his mind about anything, would he? Never. Never. No. Put it there. No. Put it there. No. Put it there. No. It looked better there.
56:16 God.
56:17 But they are pointing out one thing that's starting to come out with this story, which is there seems to be a much different take
56:25 legally
56:27 based upon if
56:29 what's being built is above ground or underground. The courts are seemingly pointing now like he can do whatever he wants underground because it's security blah blah blah. Oh, okay. The above ground is where the real problem comes into. Some people don't want the ballroom, and the
56:48 report here is correct.
56:49 There is no other point in history where this kind of massive change was enacted
56:55 by the president without having some
56:58 congressional
57:00 approval, but the difference is and this is where the courts are gonna come in because I'm not a lawyer like Rob the constitutional lawyer. I have no idea
57:08 if it was because Trump needed
57:10 the funding
57:12 from congress
57:13 to build it. And since he got the funding privately,
57:16 he has the ability or if he still needs
57:19 somebody else's approval even if he's got the money. But Yeah. This, of course, same story. This is the very Trump unfriendly
57:28 ABC.
57:29 President Trump's White House ballroom project is hitting its biggest roadblock yet. Roadblock? Federal appeals court today issuing a new ruling blocking further construction of that $400,000,000
57:40 ballroom saying only congress has the authority to approve changes to the historic structure. Our Steven Portnoy has been tracking this for us. And and, Steven, I wanna start with this. I mean, what is the essence of the judge's ruling here?
57:53 What is the essence? Oh, yeah. That's that's kinda like what do you make of it, isn't it? It's very similar. Yeah. Wasn't the original price of that 200,000,000,
58:01 Darren? Did they double that? It keeps going up. Just like he keeps moving the hell up ahead. I can see it, but if I don't know how much money he's got. He's like, hey. People keep giving me money, so I'm gonna build a bigger pool. I don't know.
58:12 You know, basically, this two to one ruling from the DC Circuit appeals court was that the the White House does not belong to the president. That he's not the owner of the Executive Mansion, that he's merely a tenant. And in this two to one ruling,
58:26 the the Obama and Biden appointed judges who ruled against the president said that, quote, whether or not a massive ballroom should be constructed is for congress to decide and is not a matter for executive
58:39 self help.
58:40 And so the bottom line is,
58:42 the judges are saying that but for security
58:45 or safety related things,
58:48 the
58:49 injunction that was imposed earlier this year by a lower court has to go into effect. Now, the ruling itself is paused for two weeks and that's to allow for the president if he decides to do it to appeal, which he said today he's going to do.
59:03 Well, and Steven, where does that leave this construction project?
59:07 Well, it's important to point out a couple of things. One, as I mentioned, the appeals court itself put in place a two week stay, a pause, to allow for the president to appeal, which he says on on social media today, this unjust decision must be overturned by the supreme court in its entirety. The president says he's going to immediately appeal it to the supreme court.
59:29 There's another step he could take if he wanted to, and that's called en banc review, which would have all the judges of the DC What's up? En banc. En banc. Wait. What? Say spell that for me, please. En banc. I think it would just be n with a banc, which is probably a
59:41 B o n k? Really? I think. I mean, en banc. If that's not a show title, I don't know what is. That's it. And bonk and bonk. It's all the I guess all the judges get together, but, you know, they're not gonna be friendly towards him
59:54 either. So
59:56 it's a kind of it's very interesting to see how this stuff plays out. And Trump with his
1:00:00 social media stuff, I think a lot of people even that back
1:00:04 the president would like him to, you know, tone things down a little. If you're going to the supreme court, you don't have to say, like, hey. The obviously unjust it's like, just say, I believe this was an unjust.
1:00:17 Yeah. You know, the obviously, and then if they rule against you, then that's where people are like, ah, he doesn't even know what he's he's he's got dementia.
1:00:24 Of course. I have a solution for him, though, Darren. To fix Really? All of the problems?
1:00:30 All of well, all those all those ballroom problems. Become a dictator. To do is bring in the designers, the guys, the brains behind
1:00:37 those very successful toys, transformers. Right. You know those things. Right? So you so make it a transformer ballroom. You push button, and all of a sudden it turns into a heavily armed bunker. Now now what's your problem?
1:00:49 It's like they need yeah. They need more. I mean, especially at this point when you have state
1:00:54 actors from Iran and others, I'm sure, that have hits out on the president. I mean, there's
1:01:00 never been a,
1:01:02 more
1:01:03 dubious time for, I guess, the right dangerous time for Yeah. Somebody in his position,
1:01:09 and I understand why they want
1:01:12 a place where they can do things like
1:01:15 a ballroom there makes sense being the fact that, you know, Trump often goes in DC to things like the the media dinner that he had to have rescheduled
1:01:25 because of the assassination attempt. Yeah. At that hotel. Absolutely.
1:01:29 Yeah. Because the, security obviously was a little bit subpar.
1:01:34 Mhmm. So, I mean, this would be nice to have that in house, and this is all
1:01:40 I mean, I know this is a surprise to everybody listening,
1:01:43 right now that's a producer of No Agenda. This is just political. It really isn't anything else. Of course. Because
1:01:51 a ballroom is gonna be there if if a democrat wins, you'll be pissed. Oh, wow. We've got this nice ballroom to go and use. Yeah. But, know, commies don't like dancing.
1:02:00 Well, Bernie did. I thought he went to Russia on his honeymoon so he could But Bernie could dance? Wow. I wanna see that. Probably seventy, eighty, ninety years ago. However, when did Bernie get married?
1:02:10 Long time. Long time. Long long time. Appeal it to the supreme court.
1:02:15 There's another step he could take if he wanted to, and that's called en banc review, which would have all the judges of the DC Circuit looking at it, but the president is gonna go right to the supreme court. And he also pointed to what, his own appointee, Naomi Rao, said in her dissenting opinion today, which is that the National Trust for Historic Preservation, which brought this lawsuit, doesn't have standing to sue. That was an argument that the administration has been making throughout this, litigation but was rejected by the majority which said that the, Congress
1:02:45 has to vote to authorize this project which, the president has, not really directly asked lawmakers to do.
1:02:51 Yeah. Which is a very good point as well. I hate to agree with ABC
1:02:56 Mhmm. But there's been a lot of things under this second Trump term
1:03:01 that the
1:03:02 easy answer seems to have been go and get it passed in congress. You control the house. You control the senate.
1:03:09 Right. Why not just go that route then nobody can complain?
1:03:14 Mhmm.
1:03:15 Well and,
1:03:16 Steven, I'm also curious. I mean, what does this mean for the president's bunker that was supposed to go under that ballroom?
1:03:22 This really gets at the security and safety exception.
1:03:25 And, you know, judge Richard Leon of the district court who looked at this earlier this year said, the president is making an argument that this ballroom is necessary for national security.
1:03:34 The president demolished the east wing of the White House that historically had a bunker underneath it that dated back to World War II, FDR's time.
1:03:43 Well, now the argument is that bunker needs to be replaced.
1:03:46 And so the judge earlier this year said, alright,
1:03:50 we will allow you to continue building those parts of this project that are necessary to the security and safety of the president. The appeals court judges today affirmed that. One of the things that Naomi Rowell, the dissenting judge, said in her opinion is the idea that now the district court judge, judge Richard Leon, is going to be required to review various parts of the plan and discern for himself what is or is not security related, which essentially would have the court micromanaging
1:04:15 those decisions. That's what, Naomi Raub believes, the administration,
1:04:19 I think, believes it's gonna have a a strong argument in that respect going to the Supreme Court on it. So it seems if you really finally go through all of these reports, and there's still one from CBS, you're going to understand that
1:04:32 the Trump people are just gonna say and they pointed out in the ABC report, the bunker
1:04:37 is World War two or previous.
1:04:40 Yeah. I'm guessing it needed some upgrading.
1:04:43 I would think. And and and but for this reason also, it's a proven fact that several members of FDR's
1:04:50 cabinet
1:04:51 were Soviet spies.
1:04:53 Who knows what kind of crap they packed into the floorboards there?
1:04:57 True. Oh, I mean, would hope they have swept for it since then, but you never I would hope. You never know what was built in.
1:05:03 Yeah. You know, that is part of the issue. I mean, that everybody went nuts when Donald Trump wanted to bring that new jumbo jet Air Force one home. No. No. We got we gotta look at it first. We gotta we gotta sweep it.
1:05:16 I wonder how, like,
1:05:18 perfect those sweeping systems are. Do they ever miss stuff? You know? They have to. They have to. Right? Nothing's nothing's perfect. As technology
1:05:26 gets better,
1:05:28 as everything is wired for the Internet,
1:05:32 it becomes
1:05:33 much easier
1:05:35 because you used to look for
1:05:37 radio waves, you know, if somebody was bugging your office,
1:05:41 well,
1:05:42 audio had to get out somehow unless there was just a recorder locally and that's probably gonna get found because recorders aren't
1:05:50 that point anyway,
1:05:51 we're not super small.
1:05:53 But now you know how small cameras and microphones are and
1:05:59 connecting them into the Internet
1:06:02 to go out of wherever whatever building you're in, not that hard to do. No. Even I could do it. Yeah. Which is why would people go into, like, Airbnbs now? You gotta sweep. You gotta look because Oh, you know what? A couple of years ago, I was supposed to connect with some friends somewhere. I forget where the hell it was. And so my for my first time, my wife always does the travel stuff, but I wasn't gonna wasn't gonna burden her with my stuff.
1:06:26 And I started looking for Airbnb's.
1:06:28 I was astonished at how many people in reviews said, I'll never stay in this dump again. It was loaded with cameras. Uh-huh. And not on the outside, on the inside. I thought, wow. Really? That's awful. And in most jurisdictions,
1:06:41 that's legal if they're not doing audio. It's just they're just security cameras, Larry. Yeah. That's right. It's for your safety. They're all in the bathroom in the changing room. That's for no
1:06:52 apparent reason.
1:06:54 Yeah.
1:06:55 But here is CBS, which surprisingly
1:06:57 enough was fairly straightforward with the story. Really? Yes.
1:07:04 Let's talk about the job site, the the ballroom situation here behind us. The president says he will appeal this three judge appeals court decision to the supreme court arguing
1:07:13 that there's a national security imperative now to finish it. But what he forgot to mention is that the court order today
1:07:19 said that the national security work underground
1:07:21 can in fact continue. It's everything from ground up that they're worried about at least in the in the case of these three judges with the appeals court because they say, as a district court had previously, the president didn't have the authority to do this on his own. Congress has full oversight of federal property and how money is spent on it. This is, in essence, remember, a national park,
1:07:41 and congress oversees the National Park Service.
1:07:43 So president not happy about that, reiterating that it is not just a 90,000 square foot ballroom, but there's gonna be all these other national security, military, medical facilities underneath that needs to be finished, and anyone who suggests otherwise is un American.
1:07:57 So I don't know. Is this the the new regime under CBS? It's gotta be the Ellison influence. Has to be. Do they actually get something that was just news? I this is how news reports that reminded me of growing up where it was just the news. Right. Not how you should think.
1:08:13 Mhmm. Not, oh, no. Trump good or Trump bad when we heard a lot of Trump good in the Fox. We heard a lot of Trump bad in the ABC.
1:08:20 Yeah. But this is why JCD invented it. And now it's time for three by three
1:08:26 experiment
1:08:27 by JCD.
1:08:29 Comparing stories from a, b, c, CBS, and NBC.
1:08:34 The never ending three by three. Which really is the heart of the media deconstruction is to be like, hey. Here's a story.
1:08:42 Here's how it's being told three different ways. And why do you think that is? If you want to start thinking critically, kids,
1:08:49 you're much better off.
1:08:51 When did John first record that that jingle? Well, he not didn't record the jingle, but this is Well, somebody. This this thing has been around for
1:08:59 as long as I can remember. Although it could be the mandala effect.
1:09:03 Yeah. Because it's really, it should be the four by four. Well,
1:09:07 of course well, and that's why I was like, okay. There was a choice for me to do
1:09:13 CBS or CNN, and I'm like, well, is he if this is the three main, and, of course, there's PBS now, and then you've got the the cable news, which are on a different level just from the fact that
1:09:25 cable news doesn't have to pay
1:09:28 The United States to use the airwaves where ABC,
1:09:32 CBS, NBC does.
1:09:34 But I'm not saying you can't do a three by three with the with the others. I mean, it still works, but I would think the four by four being the fourth would be Fox. No. That's the other really
1:09:44 the network, I guess. Yeah. Well, Fox News and Fox,
1:09:47 the regular are usually within
1:09:51 shooting distance of each other. So there's still they're broadcast, and you've got Fox,
1:09:56 the network,
1:09:58 which is over the broadcast, and then you have Fox News, which is solely
1:10:03 over cable. And then, of course, a lot of people don't know. News Nation is owned
1:10:08 by the people that, run the CW,
1:10:11 which is WGN,
1:10:12 and I'm that's split a bunch of ways as well.
1:10:15 Mhmm. But for regular news, I mean, there's at least interesting. I mean, you've got the Cuomo guy there, but you've got Is he still doing it, really? Is that right? He said Leland,
1:10:26 they
1:10:27 have a a decent lineup which they're trying
1:10:32 to bring people from both sides on, which is usually the most fun you can have in news is having an actual argument between two different people with different opinions, which now you don't see. They
1:10:44 nothing annoys me more than turning on
1:10:47 something like CNN
1:10:49 and having
1:10:51 four
1:10:52 people in the little you know, the usually a host and then four people in the little boxes, and they're all saying the same thing. It's like, could you get one person that disagreed?
1:11:01 I agree. Yeah. It's not fun. Nobody wants to hear agreement all the time. No. It's not fun, and it's not pleasant.
1:11:08 You know, that's why I I rarely watch any of them, but I do enjoy the Fox thing because it seems like it's always hot looking women with great legs and high heels, you know, sitting sitting in chairs where they have to cross their legs. Like, yeah. You you know, c CNN is like, no. It's depressing,
1:11:22 really. It's like it's like some academic crap. You know? Yeah. Fox figured out that one a long time ago. Like, if we're gonna have anybody
1:11:29 doing news,
1:11:30 attractive women will bring
1:11:33 the demographic that we want in.
1:11:35 Yeah. And I think Brooke Baldwin is at the front of that class, and she was it a book she came out with an article? She was she recently, I read something she had said about how how much she loves sex and different kinds, and I said, wow. You know?
1:11:48 Welcome to Fox News. Exactly.
1:11:51 Thank you, Brooke.
1:11:52 Now you've got a clip here on Sunday at church. I mean, is this Yeah. I thought because it's a Sunday show, you know, and I kind of stumbled on this one.
1:12:03 And, you know,
1:12:04 insanity
1:12:05 crosses every boundary and every every vocation, every profession, you know, and you get them you never know where you'll you'll encounter them. And I I what made me think of this is years ago, before my wife and I were married, we both had apartments in the West Side Of New York. And we went to this church, I forget the name of it.
1:12:24 And goddamn darn, it was it was pre,
1:12:26 you know, smartphone days. I think we were like still on pagers back then,
1:12:31 unfortunately.
1:12:32 Because we went to this mass, like a regular Sunday mass walk in, you know, pretty good sized crowd and there's several 100 people.
1:12:39 And this priest who was like, you know, very gay started his sermon,
1:12:44 and the sermon was
1:12:46 Jesus is my lover.
1:12:48 And over the course of his homily, which probably ran, I don't know, seven or ten minutes or something like that, he kind of he never got graphic, but he described sort of the things he wanted to do with the king of kings. This is a Catholic church in New is a Catholic this is a Roman Catholic church.
1:13:05 And I I'm I'm thinking, oh my and I oh, yeah. And I remember back in my apartment, I had a VHS camera. And I thought, could I possibly sprint back there fast enough to grab that cinder block, lug it back here, and get some of this because it was absolute gold.
1:13:21 And I remember looking around with my wife, you know, then my just my girlfriend.
1:13:25 The jaws on people were their their jaws were on their chest. I mean, it was like it was it was like a comedy bit.
1:13:31 It was beyond belief. So anyway Was this guy not vetted? I mean, the you you came up with the term the corporate god providers. Did they Corporate god providers. Yeah. Vet this guy.
1:13:41 I I never went back to that church. It was a really bizarre experience. You know? And then I I stumbled on this this this is a guy from from somewhere in Oklahoma.
1:13:51 His name like Pat
1:13:53 Preacher Smidridge
1:13:54 or something. I don't know. And listen
1:13:58 to what this cat's doing. When he starts speaking, know that I just wanted to give you the visual setup. He starts at the at the the podium,
1:14:05 you know, up in the altar. And it's it's like I think it's a it's a Baptist or it's it's not a Catholic church.
1:14:11 And he's obviously pretty ticked off at the start of it, and he very quickly steps down into the audience and gets right in people's faces as he says. So it's not like I want you to know, he's not like talking about people in the ether. They're there. They're close. They're right there. Close. Yeah. Son, don't go to sleep while I'm talking. Hey. Hey. Hey. Don't don't don't you lay your head back. I'm I'm important.
1:14:33 I'm somebody.
1:14:35 Now you might do your English teacher that way, but I'm not teach English. I'm teaching eternal life here. I love you. You know I love you. Have I convinced you I love you? Yeah. You better said you better nod your head. Yeah. Sorry. Come on. Put it up there. Alright. You stay awake and you listen to me.
1:14:50 You say, well, he may never come back. Well, he ain't here now.
1:14:56 And where have you been,
1:14:57 mister Underwood?
1:14:59 And I noticed on the counter I'm supposed to marry y'all. What makes you think I'd marry you?
1:15:04 You're one of the sorriest church members I have. Wow. You're not worth 15ยข.
1:15:11 And you want me to marry you to her?
1:15:13 And you wanna marry him? And he don't even know where he belongs? And you don't even know where you belong? Now, let me tell you everybody here how much I love these kids. Do you know I love you, sir? Stand up, big boy.
1:15:25 Big boy. Do you know I love you? Mhmm. Alright.
1:15:28 Yeah. He gives him a bear hug. Wow. This is a whole different kind of church. Isn't that crazy? You're not worth 15ยข. Come here. Let me let me show you how much I love you.
1:15:37 Wow. I mean, I mean, at least I'll I'll give this guy. He seems like he is,
1:15:42 worthy of at least holding your attention while speaking because I've had enough, you know, in churches where
1:15:49 that you're the the everything is just so boring that, you know, you're trying not to fall asleep. But Yes. Yes.
1:15:56 Sometimes that's just impossible. Sometimes nature takes over, and there's absolutely nothing you can do.
1:16:03 Exactly. So you just sit back and enjoy the ride. I gotta tell you, the guy when they get he made the guy stand up so we could hug him, and I'm thinking, what the how's this gonna end? I thought maybe maybe there might be a right cross to his jaw or something. You But Well, I can see that. Yeah. You show of course, you could. Yeah. You're living in a slightly different world right now. And Yeah. As you said, people can snap at any given minute. You never know what you're gonna deal with.
1:16:26 No. That is the insanity of all of this. Yeah.
1:16:32 So how do okay. So we I gotta get to the Mike Rogue clip. I like this guy. He's
1:16:37 He is good. He is good. This is, you know, he's he's kind of he's kind of spells out, you know, in his opinion. It's a very valid opinion what he thinks is wrong with,
1:16:47 with Gen Z and millennial people, but there's
1:16:51 there's there's an answer. There's a there's a another side to his argument, which I'll give after the clip. The question doesn't start with what are they doing. It starts with what what aren't they doing.
1:17:02 They're not volunteering
1:17:05 at their local church. They're not in the Kiwanis Club. They're not checking out the Rotarians or the Lions Club. They're not in the Boy Scouts or Skills USA. They're not contributing anything in their community.
1:17:16 What are they doing? On average, they're spending between two thousand and two thousand one hundred hours a year on their screen.
1:17:26 It is
1:17:27 just we just haven't seen the like of it before.
1:17:31 How are they able to survive? That's I don't I can't paint with too broad a brush. Maybe some of them are trust fund kids. Maybe some of them have enough. A lot of it is is money from other generations. Sure. You know, I they just hate our generation. Except when we give them money, that's always okay. Yeah. It's always okay when you get daddy's money. Then the boomers aren't so bad.
1:17:51 Right? Yeah. So he he's not wrong. I mean, if you think about it, that's, you know, roughly around thirty five hours a week, which is really
1:17:59 that's kind of a full paid a full time job with no paycheck.
1:18:04 Right? Yes.
1:18:05 Yeah. It's it's it's beyond belief. So then there was a story that I that I tripped over that is kind of the other side of that, and and I I maybe like, Simon will ask Adam. Didn't Adam for a while he did he put his smartphone aside and was using, a flip phone or a Yeah. He I think he still uses that as the main phone. And I saw an article in one of the
1:18:27 the tech publications.
1:18:29 I don't remember if it was wired or the verge. One of those. There's, like, four different companies now
1:18:34 that are making
1:18:36 dumb down phones, and the the two or three were flipped.
1:18:39 Yeah. Well, there's there's what the story says. There's a a woman, you know, they inter interviewed
1:18:43 this woman named Kendall something, and she remembers the moment she swapped her smartphone for a flip phone. She said, quote, for me,
1:18:50 the second that my iPhone was gone, it was just like heaven on earth. She's 23 year old Washington DC resident. This is with CBS News.
1:18:58 And it says she's among a growing number of young people. Okay? I don't like my smartphone. I was thinking of doing what Adam Adam did. Young people are ditching their smartphones in favor of stripped down dumb phones
1:19:10 in an effort to unplug from social media,
1:19:12 etcetera, etcetera. Some feel nostalgic for an era they never knew before the advent of mobile devices. So then what Mike said is buttressed by the American Psychological Association,
1:19:22 which showed that The US teens spending nearly five hours a day on social media.
1:19:28 And yeah. You're right. She this chick got her flip phone from dumb.co.
1:19:31 Have you heard of that one? No. But that's a great name. Name.
1:19:34 Isn't that good? Dumb.co, a startup that sells devices loaded with practical tools like Uber maps and Spotify, but no social media.
1:19:42 And this dumb cow Dumb Co says it's got more than than 5,000 active users,
1:19:47 and it's now this is the, you know, this this deserves fanfare. Its typical customer
1:19:53 is a 24 year old woman.
1:19:55 How about that?
1:19:56 They really wanna be forced to be off social media because, you know, you don't have to install the app.
1:20:02 That's true. That's very true. But I guess it's easier when people like know, because then you would have your friends pressuring you like, why aren't you on here? I don't know my phone. I I do it won't it doesn't work.
1:20:14 Because you can't just you can take it off on your own. And these some of these phones will allow you to have the messaging apps. So if you wanna use something like Signal or Telegram,
1:20:25 they'll allow that, but then they don't allow
1:20:28 although you could probably hack it. I mean, all these things are hackable, but they allegedly don't allow Facebook and Instagram
1:20:34 and all of
1:20:36 the social media because the social media
1:20:39 is where people start going down those rabbit holes that are not beneficial.
1:20:45 And it's No. I mean, again, I know. We're the old guys. We're the boomers. When we were kids, we used to hop on our bike and go to a friend's house without even calling first.
1:20:54 Yeah. Knock on the door and be like, hey. Is Jimmy home?
1:20:57 That's right. And if not, you'd go further down the street and be like, hey. Is Jack home? You know? I mean, this is Yeah. Looking for something to do, or you went to the park or wherever people hung out.
1:21:08 Yes. The fact that kids just sit at home in their air conditioned house and play on their smartphone without talking to another human being while possibly being,
1:21:19 you know, groomed by somebody in another country. It's a
1:21:23 it's a this is very strange
1:21:26 world. But with that said,
1:21:28 I think it's very scary what's going on
1:21:31 with what some of these states are doing. There's a a new meta
1:21:36 thing that came out, not a new thing, a new judgment against
1:21:40 meta.
1:21:40 Oh, how much money? This time, another $567,000,000.
1:21:46 That's a that's a pretty big number. Why? That's more than we make it a though. I mean, that's like a day.
1:21:52 Yeah. You're right. What am I saying? But in honor of JCD, it's an NTD clip. I'm like, I've never pulled an NTD clip before. I'd never even run across one, so I figured once I saw this, it was a sign.
1:22:04 New legal pressures mounting on Meta over the impact of social media on children. A New Mexico judge ordering the company to pay $567,000,000
1:22:14 in overhaul safety features on Facebook and Instagram for young users in the state.
1:22:20 The judge ruled Metis platforms contributed to harms to children's mental health and failed to adequately protect minors from sexual exploitation.
1:22:29 The order includes limits on teens use of Facebook and Instagram, tighter controls on contact between adults and minors, and new safeguards for AI chatbots.
1:22:38 New Mexico ruling comes on top of the $375,000,000
1:22:43 in civil penalties a jury ordered against Meta earlier this year, bringing the total amount the company is responsible for in the case to $942,000,000,
1:22:53 a small fraction of its annual profit, which was about $60,000,000,000
1:22:57 in 2025.
1:22:58 Meta says it plans to appeal maintaining its confident in its record of protecting teens online and has been working on identifying and removing harmful content from its platforms.
1:23:09 Now the case is being closely watched as states and school districts across the country pursue similar lawsuits against social media companies.
1:23:17 Yes. One, somebody needs to nationalize
1:23:19 so the individual states can't this is never going to bring anything good.
1:23:25 Mhmm. And they're ignoring the fact that the Internet
1:23:28 is inherently
1:23:30 dangerous. It's like a car. Yes. Yes. Yes.
1:23:33 If you're gonna put your child behind the wheel of a car, there's a chance they're going to get into an accident and get injured or worse.
1:23:41 The only way to keep your child from getting into a car accident with them driving is to keep them from driving the car
1:23:48 until they are ready
1:23:50 to do so.
1:23:52 This concept that, you know, oh, we're gonna have
1:23:56 Facebook or any of these social media companies being in charge of how many hours
1:24:02 your kid sits on the Internet. Wouldn't it be better if that was the parent doing that? Sure. But aren't they doing that already in China? Yes. Well, and this is the rub
1:24:12 that a lot of the people in The United States are missing,
1:24:17 which is it's always,
1:24:19 you know, it's it's for the safety.
1:24:21 It's always for the children, but it the end result is always,
1:24:27 oh, for this to work,
1:24:29 every adult that's on the Internet, well, you're gonna need an idea, and you're gonna have to sign on, and we're gonna have to know
1:24:35 Yeah. Oh, yeah. Everything you do. But this is the clip from the attorney general in New Mexico. Of course, they and I'm I'm sorry. I shouldn't say of course in this case because there's some Republican attorney generals going after the exact same thing. So this shouldn't be politicized except to say that a lot of attorney attorneys general
1:24:56 are
1:24:57 idiots.
1:24:58 Oh, yeah.
1:24:59 So I just wanted to give you a quick update on a major victory.
1:25:02 Victory. Woo. Major victory.
1:25:05 We scored against social media and specifically in our case against Meta. Yesterday, a judge ordered that Meta pay $567,000,000
1:25:12 for the public nuisance and the harm that they've caused to our kids. That's on The public nuisance. This is one of the ways they're going after them that this is
1:25:22 like you having an old Chevy that causes too much noise after 8PM driving down there. It's a public nuisance, Larry. That's where these meta and it
1:25:33 it's infuriating
1:25:36 the complete lack of understanding.
1:25:39 And Yeah. You know? And, again, oh, it's it's major. 567,000,000.
1:25:43 It's like, well, what is Meta make in an hour? Yeah. 60,000,000,000 a year? It's it's not major to them. No. No. It's a it's a rounding error if you're lucky.
1:25:53 So, you know, put on your soothsayer's
1:25:56 cap there, Darren. Where do you see this crack? Because you've been you've been yelling about this for years, rightly so.
1:26:02 Are they going to achieve their goal? Are we all gonna be having to do selfies and sit there with our with our driver's license or whatever the hell it is so we can we can get online? Or what what do you think? How's how's it gonna go? Yeah. If they get what they want, it is going to be China, which is for you to log on to the Internet,
1:26:18 you are going to have to prove who you are with an ID. You're probably gonna have to use your smartphone
1:26:24 to take a photo of your driver's license with you know, and here in The US, on the back, you've got the barcodes. You're gonna have to take a picture of that to prove that you are who you say you are
1:26:37 while you're logged in, which then again, now if you end up being one of those parents that's like, I don't care if my kid uses eight thousand hours. I'll just log them in as me.
1:26:47 It's never a penalty for the parents. It's always
1:26:50 going after money
1:26:52 from the social media. So this is not about protecting your children.
1:26:56 This is only about taking more money from the social media. Here in Illinois,
1:27:01 the corrupt politicians
1:27:02 JB Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson of Chicago,
1:27:06 they put laws into place that said, well, for every person using your social media over a 100,000,
1:27:14 the city owes you a 50ยข or the state, you know, you owe us a 50ยข tax. So the state of Illinois is like, well, you know, if we got 20,000,000 people on
1:27:26 X, well, then you owe us 10,000,000 a month
1:27:29 in a tax for us to allow your social media to be it's always about the money.
1:27:36 This is just a different way of going at the money because they're going to make rules
1:27:41 and regulations
1:27:43 that parents should be in charge of
1:27:45 that the penalty is only the social media companies
1:27:49 pay more. But this guy goes on here.
1:27:52 To our kids. That's on top of the $375,000,000
1:27:56 judgment we got earlier in the year. That's almost a billion dollars just for the state of New Mexico. To put that in context, if the rest of the country got the kind of judgment that we got yesterday,
1:28:05 it'd be a $150,000,000,000
1:28:07 to Meta. Can you just hear? It's like a wet dream to this guy. If only.
1:28:11 Yeah. Every other state.
1:28:14 New Mexico,
1:28:15 I would characterize that. It's the it's the Massachusetts
1:28:18 of the Southwest,
1:28:20 and it wasn't always that way. It used to be a banging state. It still has the most beautiful, you know, sunsets, geography, mountains. It's it's absolutely gorgeous,
1:28:29 but it's been overrun by commie creeps. And it's it's become kind of a depressing place outside of, you know, the natural
1:28:35 topography.
1:28:36 It's it's sad. Yeah. They'll sit there and be like, oh, social media is too popular. Let's see if we can monetize it. Yeah. Of course. Where the real answer is keep the children off of devices until they're of age, whatever that is.
1:28:49 Yeah.
1:28:51 Oh,
1:28:52 won't somebody please think of the children?
1:28:55 More importantly, however, now they are ordered to change how they do business in our state. This is a fight that's worth having. This is something that I am passionate about, and we're not done yet. We have a lot more left to do specifically
1:29:08 updating our laws, our consumer protection laws, and our social media laws here in New Mexico to make it absolutely clear that you can't endanger our kids, you can't allow exploitation,
1:29:18 and you've got to do a whole lot more to protect families
1:29:22 and people, especially the most vulnerable members of our community. This is an important victory for us, first in the nation, first in the world.
1:29:30 We got a lot more left to do, so stay tuned.
1:29:33 Yeah. The the amount of rah rah is kind of disturbing.
1:29:36 And that phrase
1:29:38 more work to do. That's always a commie phrase. Have you noticed that? In the most vulnerable.
1:29:42 It's always Yeah. It's always it's the Yeah. It's the people that are having the biggest no. Because, you know, rich white kids, they're not having their children
1:29:51 exploited on the Internet. No. It's always the the most vulnerable.
1:29:55 Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And don't buy it. Don't buy it for a minute,
1:29:59 and parenting just has to be parenting.
1:30:03 And these device I mean, the concept is
1:30:07 insane because anybody with logic can sit in a room. Even people that are not dudes named Ben, people who don't have any
1:30:14 concept of how any of these systems work, you would understand
1:30:19 that, well, if a bunch of people are communicating online,
1:30:22 you're not gonna be able to
1:30:25 separate them into different categories. Because if you're like, well, no, only people that are
1:30:30 are signed up as children under the age of 16 can talk in this group because, yeah, no adult is gonna figure out how to sign up as
1:30:39 No.
1:30:40 Especially when kids in The United States, you don't have an ID until you're getting your driver's license. Maybe, I guess, you have a Social Security card. But Well, not in California. If you wanna get medical attention, you have an ID at 12, and your parents can't look at it. Dude, and I have I have gotten multiple boots on the ground from your clip, which I was like, this can't even be real in California.
1:31:01 It's real. It is more than real. It's happening in Illinois as well because California and Illinois are kind of like mirrors
1:31:09 when it comes to the law. Oh, yeah. And parents saying I cannot get my child's
1:31:15 medical records
1:31:17 without their approval at 12 years old, and you walk into the doctor's office and
1:31:24 they don't go, well, do you, you know, do you do you want your parent to be here with you? It's like, no. The doctor, you don't get that choice.
1:31:30 Mhmm. Like, sorry. But Yeah. This is the world we live in. Well, this is this is the commie world that we live in. This is commie canon. And it goes back a long, long
1:31:40 way. And if you think about it, Hillary
1:31:46 wrote a very successful book called
1:31:48 It Takes a Village. Right? You know, and that's exactly what it is. It's like, hey, mom and dad. You don't matter. It's the the village is gonna raise your kid. You really well, try calling the village when your kid's projectile vomiting at 3AM.
1:31:59 They don't pick up. No. You know? It's complete crap. It's the state ruling everything. And Gavin, you know, Gavin Newsom and all those dirtbags in California, man, they need to be put in a rocket and then, you know, fired into the sun, really, because they're they're just raw, evil, evil people, really.
1:32:18 But, I mean, I know
1:32:19 we go back to it a lot, but this is literally
1:32:22 what these socialist and communist regimes did. They go after the children. Oh, always. Indoctrinate
1:32:28 the children, and this is because then your children start coming home like, oh, yes, mom and dad. You're problematic. Your way of thinking. I told
1:32:37 I told governor Newsom what you were thinking of doing.
1:32:40 Yeah. Homeschooling
1:32:42 me. They're taking me away.
1:32:45 Yeah. You're gonna put me in a nice camp somewhere.
1:32:48 It's very strange. Why you need people to stand up and make their voices heard.
1:32:53 Mhmm.
1:32:54 One guy that did that,
1:32:56 our buddy, Scott Lobido, anybody that's been listening to Planet Rage has heard Scott's voice more than once, and I know.
1:33:03 I I wish we had Bing It IO like we do for this show for
1:33:07 Planet Rage because you could do a search for anything that Adam and John have talked about over the years. Yeah. But I know you and I on a few
1:33:16 occasions
1:33:17 while watching one of Scott's video said,
1:33:20 this guy's close to a heart attack, man. If he doesn't We did that several times. You are correct. And then he had one because, I mean,
1:33:27 when we were doing Planet Rage, which is kind of like No Agenda with
1:33:32 more swearing and playing up the anger bit, I mean, we're still mad about this stuff, but it's Sure. Playing it up for the entertainment
1:33:40 value.
1:33:42 Mhmm. I mean, overall, I think when you and I stopped doing the show when the you know, that's the end of that period of the day,
1:33:49 we go off and have fun. And Always. We Always. Listen to music, and we enjoy what we're doing. Scott, I think, has been pissed off for a long time. You know, I I I came I had a, like, a kind of an epiphany as, I was just before I sent you this clip
1:34:04 about Scott.
1:34:06 And,
1:34:07 he I mean, he's
1:34:09 the interesting thing about it, he's definitely a right winger. His head's in the right place. I I love his salty language. He reminds
1:34:16 me more of Sinatra
1:34:18 speaking wise than anybody I've ever heard. Yes. Yes.
1:34:22 Absolutely.
1:34:24 And, Scott, unlike
1:34:25 most right wingers, certainly myself included, I think I'm kinda typical because
1:34:31 for the most part actually, I never voted until I had kids. That's the only time I started caring,
1:34:36 but I knew what was going on.
1:34:38 But still, what do we wanna do? Well, you know, it's like, life is good. I'm gonna go see see Billy Idol and then, you know, maybe I'll go to the beach and you know, play with moose for a while.
1:34:47 It's politics is not the focal point of my of my existence.
1:34:52 But for most lefties,
1:34:54 like Bernie,
1:34:55 like Newsom, like AOC,
1:34:57 it is a religion. They are ideologues.
1:35:00 It never leaves their minds.
1:35:02 And Scott, in that way, he kind of operates like they do because he he never unwound, I think. You know what I mean? He seemed like he was always ready for combat, and it finally caught up with his aorta, I guess. I think he had a double bite, but whatever. Something very serious. You know?
1:35:19 But Well, yeah, he said he flatlined for two minutes. Yeah.
1:35:22 Ouch.
1:35:23 Yeah. Yeah. And I do wanna point out to people, Larry is not like a northern exposure out in the woods kind of guy. Moose is a very little white puppy. Moose
1:35:32 yes.
1:35:33 Moose is 13 pounds of he's more like a boulevard deer. You know? He just wants to hang around and eat escargot and drink fine wine. He's People were imagining a much different thing where you're like, I go out. I play with moose. Like, woah. This guy's real.
1:35:46 Oh, no. No. The moose is a lap dog. 100%. Yeah.
1:35:50 And he brings the ladies in. That's the only reason to get a cute little white dog. He does. Yeah. Is there any other setup on this libido clip, or do we just No. It's well, what Scott is is Scott is like I said, he's so hardcore, Darren, that I think he had his his cardiac
1:36:06 episode, like, four days ago.
1:36:09 And then he within, I think, the first or second day,
1:36:13 he had a video of himself in his hospital bed. He's got, you know, he's got IVs going into him and bandages and, you it's very serious stuff.
1:36:21 But he did he did a a video
1:36:24 telling, you know, I'm not done. I'm still in. Stay with me. You know, I'm I'm getting out of here very soon. I mean, he's he's a force of nature. There's no question about that.
1:36:33 And then
1:36:34 this this clip really demonstrates that because the the guy's arranging things from his hospital bed.
1:36:40 He's got his own air force. Listen listen to this clip. Like, he literally can't even slow down for a minute. Is it? No. Yeah.
1:36:47 Scott Lebedo organized a protest, America's artists, against Dvorak Mondani, and they booed him off. Scott had a confrontation,
1:36:56 actually had a heart attack, almost died.
1:36:58 But today, we're just getting this video in first here on Newsmax.
1:37:02 Scott Labeto apparently chartered a plane from his hospital bed,
1:37:07 and he's flying this banner over New York City with a direct message
1:37:13 to Zorhan Mondani,
1:37:15 and the guy was almost dead. So back from the grave, you see this flying up and down New York City.
1:37:21 This is actually a live view right now, first on Newsmax.
1:37:24 Mondani,
1:37:25 stay away
1:37:27 from ground zero. And I don't think you could be any more clear than that. Shocked a guy
1:37:33 who just had open heart surgery,
1:37:35 took the time, but I guess he wants Mondani to know that the booming's not gonna stop, and
1:37:41 New York City's getting a clear message from Staten Islanders led by Scott Labeto.
1:37:47 Pretty cool. Right? Yeah. That's the commitment to the craft. Exactly.
1:37:52 I mean, exactly.
1:37:53 That guy is a true believer, and wow. I I salute him. And I saw the clip. Mam Donnie was booed off stage. I think it was mainly by a police audience, was it, in New York?
1:38:04 Yeah. I guess it was.
1:38:06 I'm sure if he had his homies there, they'd have drowned out the, the police,
1:38:11 because he's very popular with them. And then Elizabeth Warren was booed for saying something. It's like this maybe
1:38:18 people are waking up a little bit more. Maybe. You know, like oh, she because she made a comment somewhere, and she was sitting on a panel because she was sitting there with the little microphone and her name in front of her. And she actually said that she's been tough on, like, the border, and people just started laughing. And they're like my god. You you can't make this stuff up. It's like, I don't know if these people are delusional
1:38:41 or what. It's like, but you are not tough on the border, madam.
1:38:45 Wow. I mean, you're welcome to your point of view if you want open borders, but this is the where people really start, you know, jumping into that dimension b. Maybe she wants people to think now that she's been tough on the borders and the AI. Well, she said she was tough on the borders.
1:39:01 Yeah. Yeah.
1:39:03 It's just literal insanity,
1:39:06 and people always complain
1:39:08 when they're hearing this kind of stuff, and they're like, like you just said, you lean right wing. It's like I lean right wing, but I will tell you
1:39:16 that the Republicans are not perfect, and there are things that are going wrong, and it doesn't affect the ability to understand
1:39:23 the crap that you're being fed.
1:39:26 Yeah. And if I could find it,
1:39:29 I would bring you all of the right wing dribble
1:39:34 that is meeting the level of the left, but I can't. So, I mean, I will challenge any of those people.
1:39:40 They're like, oh, no. All of these everybody else do they the right wing does the same thing. Well, send in those clips. I would love
1:39:46 Yeah.
1:39:47 To see them that are the equivalent of, you know, Donald Trump can't even make a complete sentence, and they cut to the video of the guy like doing Shakespeare. And it's like
1:39:56 Yeah.
1:39:57 That's not not the result. One of those from from Thune and Murkowski,
1:40:01 but yeah.
1:40:04 And I gotta know what this next clip you got here is about sunscreen and the COVID vaxx. This oh, this is this, like, literally
1:40:11 second half of show kind of things? Or
1:40:14 I I don't know. I mean, it's just I just again, I tripped over this one, and
1:40:19 it's
1:40:20 it's who's that congressman? You'll recognize his voice. The guy's name, he's he's very articulate, smooth. But he said, hey. Well, just play the clip here. Have I been lied to as a Florida man about sunscreen protecting me from cancer? Yes. It appears we've all been lied to. Unfortunately,
1:40:37 this massive study of over 470,000
1:40:41 people
1:40:42 confirms it.
1:40:43 It's very worrisome that when they compared sunscreen users to non sunscreen users,
1:40:49 the sunscreen users faced increased risks of all the major skin cancers: melanoma,
1:40:56 squamous cell carcinoma,
1:40:58 and basal cell carcinoma.
1:40:59 So all of these cancers were up, but the most worrisome finding was that invasive melanoma was three hundred percent higher
1:41:08 risk in the sunscreen users. They accounted for skin color,
1:41:12 time spent outdoors,
1:41:14 and many other things sex, age. And they still found these increased risks of the cancer. So when you use sunscreen all the time, you're blocking your body's ability to synthesize vitamin D, which is critical for cancer defense. So you do not want to shut that up. A JAMA study just came out and found all of those active ingredients in the sunscreens
1:41:34 get into your circulation. They get into your body above FDA regulatory limits. If you really have to use it, if you'll be out in the sun for six hours midsummer day,
1:41:45 you still wanna use something, I would use zinc based sunscreen, not oxybenzone,
1:41:51 none of those hormone disrupting
1:41:53 Wow. Yeah. How about that? Matt Gates was interviewing this guy
1:41:58 And, you know, there was some companion
1:42:00 verbiage to it, Darren, and it said that, you know, the the incidence of melanoma has just skyrocketed.
1:42:06 And it was almost unheard of back in the, you know, nineteen thirties, forties, whatever. And they there was further evidence they had that a lot of it is is not just linked to the the the the
1:42:18 dangerous gunk that might be in the stuff we spray in our faces and arms and shoulders, but it's dilated
1:42:24 and that all the all the the crap that we eat, the processed foods somehow re reduces our resistance to it. And and it said that people who were going more in the vein of
1:42:35 of heavy carnivores of of properly raised beef. They'll they people who used to get terribly sunburned
1:42:41 will switch to a diet of beef. I don't know if this is true, but it's a report.
1:42:45 And go out and they'll they'll get a color, but they won't scald and blister and peel the way they did
1:42:52 back when they were on the crappy diet.
1:42:54 So they're eat more steak and hamburger.
1:42:56 This
1:42:57 is the Texas Beef Initiative sponsored by this.
1:43:01 Yeah. And everybody likes well, not everybody, but a lot of people do. And it makes sense that your Yeah. Diet would have an effect. I mean, vitamin D is one of the main things when you go to the doctor and they do the blood test. Like, you either got enough or you don't. If you don't know, you gotta supplement it.
1:43:16 Yeah.
1:43:17 Yeah. But the dangerous
1:43:19 chemicals in all of this, it's like diet soda. So you read the chemical list, you're like, did you really just drink water?
1:43:25 Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. That stuff's so bad. I could I could never ever get past the aftertaste
1:43:32 in diet sodas. Never.
1:43:34 The aspartame
1:43:35 or the what
1:43:37 was the saccharin was the worst one at first.
1:43:41 But they never taste just like, oh, no. It tastes just like regular soda. It's like which is horrible for you as well. But you know what? The sugar
1:43:48 is less of a problem if well, back in the days when you actually had natural cane sugar in your soda rather than Right. The high fructose corn syrup.
1:43:58 Right. This is they cut the corners and try to make more money on every product that they put out there.
1:44:05 Sure. Do they sell Mexican Coke in Chicago?
1:44:08 Yeah. When we used to go to Costco, I would get the 18 pack or whatever it was, and then, yeah, it kinda just had to cut back because it's just so good. But in the summer, there's nothing like
1:44:19 a bottle glass bottle
1:44:22 Yeah. Of Mexican Coke, real cane sugar. Real cane sugar. The taste is astonishingly
1:44:29 different than the other crap. Yes. You can tell I mean, if you can't tell the difference, then your taste buds are dead. Yes.
1:44:36 Yes. That's how it is with all the real
1:44:39 cane sugar sodas over the counterparts that have the high fructose corn syrup. There is a different taste,
1:44:46 and your body reacts totally differently to them. Do you remember the stuff that came out probably thirty years ago called Jolt? Yeah. That was the best, man.
1:44:55 And they said, like, right on the label twice the caffeine to like, all the bad shit was was in there. Drink drink
1:45:01 drink this jolt.
1:45:02 Then that that's come and gone a few times. Somebody tried to revive it. Then there back in the day when the all the computer guys were drinking balls,
1:45:11 b a w l s, which is another, like, totally
1:45:15 caffeinated drink. Hey. You wanna stay up all night and game or code? Well, you need some balls.
1:45:20 Wow.
1:45:22 Speaking of balls
1:45:23 Oh, I hope I I'm praying you I know you mentioned something about WNBA,
1:45:28 and you beat you I'm hoping you're gonna cover this. Yeah. This story is oddly
1:45:34 at the front of,
1:45:37 the news, and it has been for the last few days, and it continues
1:45:41 to get stranger.
1:45:44 And bigger, I think. It does. It continues to get bigger. There were a couple of things going on. The first was Klay Travis from OutKick Sports said, well, you know, if you really want to
1:45:56 stand by your guns that women and men are the same, well, then he had an idea.
1:46:02 Because the WNBA
1:46:04 has right now a lot of coaches that are coming out, including in the last day or two saying, hey. If a man identifies as a woman, he should be able to play in the WNBA.
1:46:16 I think that is absolutely ludicrous. It's absurd. The WNBA commissioner has not spoken out in favor of Sophie Cunningham or even just in favor of basic rules. It's called the WNBA because it's the women's basketball association there. Right? If they are going to allow men to play, I think we should have an actual game, not
1:46:36 NBA players against WNBA
1:46:39 players, high school boys. Let me pick a team. Will, I will put it on pay per view. We'll donate all the profits to tunnel the towers for wounded warriors,
1:46:48 for the families out there that they're helping to take care of, first responders. You go you know Frank Siller. They do incredible work. We'll put it on pay per view. If the high school boys win, I will give them $10,000,000.
1:47:00 If the WNBA team wins, I will give them $10,000,000.
1:47:04 I think we would raise tens of millions of dollars for charity, and I'm putting my money where my mouth is. If the WNBA really doesn't believe that men are that much better than women at basketball,
1:47:17 then the champion of the WNBA
1:47:20 should be able to beat a bunch of high school boys, Will. So far, they haven't responded. They always talk about how they want more money. This is more money for one basketball game than has ever been paid to win in the history of the sport.
1:47:34 He's right. The Cool. I think the highest,
1:47:39 payroll on a WNBA team now is
1:47:42 $7,000,000
1:47:44 for the season.
1:47:45 Wow.
1:47:46 And he's offering and the the people coming in
1:47:50 to the league, this made big news when Caitlin Clark came into the league two years ago,
1:47:55 was between 70 and 80,000. So we can round up and say 80,000.
1:47:59 Sure. Offering $10,000,000
1:48:01 to beat a high school boys basketball team. Why wouldn't these women jump at it if they thought they had even an even chance of winning? Sure.
1:48:13 Because he also went on to say that he has heard from countless high school coaches that are like, hey. Hey. Hey. Look at my team. I'll bet. Yeah. And
1:48:22 this makes a very
1:48:24 valid point
1:48:26 that
1:48:27 we have covered here and others places
1:48:30 that, men and women are not equal physically.
1:48:34 That's They're not? Strength makes a difference. I know. But this is how
1:48:39 I mean, just keeping with this little part of the story,
1:48:42 this is how this challenge that the guy from Outkick putting out, the $10,000,000 challenge,
1:48:49 this is how it was covered
1:48:51 by a
1:48:53 anchor out of Minneapolis
1:48:55 who is an outwardly,
1:48:57 queer
1:48:58 woman anchor, but you can figure out what
1:49:02 her point of view might be here. Okay. One last thing tonight. The entire world of women's sports is facing the debate within its own leagues of who should get to play and who should not. And a voice that often shouts loudly in that debate is a right leaning outlet owned by FOX News called Outkick Sports.
1:49:19 And today, its founder took to a new stunt, one that really makes no sense if Outkick is really concerned about caring about women and women's
1:49:27 Okay. One, can anybody explain to me how that has anything to do except to show
1:49:32 that he cares about women in women's sports not having to play against
1:49:37 a larger,
1:49:39 more powerful man?
1:49:41 Mhmm. But no. No. She's gonna take it the exact opposite direction and pretend. Oh, no. I can't even figure out why, Larry.
1:49:49 So Clay Travis, he's the man behind outkick. He announced today he's offering $10,000,000
1:49:55 to the winner of a game of basketball between a high school boys team of his choosing and the WNBA
1:50:00 defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces.
1:50:03 I thought to myself why,
1:50:05 but obviously the answer is because he thinks it is so impossible for any group of women, let alone the best in the game that they could ever beat
1:50:14 younger and more inexperienced boys.
1:50:17 It's a thinly veiled sexist joke. How is it a sexist joke? What? I know. I know.
1:50:23 What? How is this a sexist joke? It is making a valid
1:50:28 point. And he's putting up enough money, madam.
1:50:32 Mhmm. That, she's probably annoyed by that because I think she was a they there.
1:50:36 They're putting up enough money
1:50:39 that this would be a big payday for this team.
1:50:43 So how is it a joke? Somebody's offering you $10,000,000
1:50:46 to play high school boys. This is the championship
1:50:49 woman's team in the WNBA
1:50:51 to play a bunch of high school boys
1:50:54 for $10,000,000.
1:50:56 How is that? Really?
1:50:58 Any I don't think it's thinly veiled at all. I think it's right out there. How is it a sexist joke? I don't think it is.
1:51:05 Wow.
1:51:06 Younger and more inexperienced boys.
1:51:09 It's a thinly veiled sexist joke, revealing the actual truth of how he and his organization feel about women's sports.
1:51:15 Oh. It's not about caring about them. They think women's sports are a joke.
1:51:19 No. We just think you're a joke lady. Yeah. Well, they think women's sports
1:51:24 she's she's 50 correct, Larry, because they think women's sports is a joke once you allow men
1:51:31 to start playing in that league?
1:51:34 Well, there's a lot of volunteers now, aren't there? Three the last time I checked. Yeah. I've got two. This is, the second one that came out. This is Royce White, former NBA first round draft pick.
1:51:45 That's a cool first name, Royce. Royce? It's like Royce. My brother named Rolls, I guess.
1:51:51 Oh, earlier this week, I made the announcement. I'm I'm transgender.
1:51:55 I'm a woman. I'm I identify as sometimes identifying as a woman for purposes of of basketball, professional basketball. So I'll be declaring for the WNBA draft in 2027 as well. Well, I I mean, I think I'd be unstoppable.
1:52:10 You know? But I'm I'm a team first guy. You know? I'm a I'm a pass first kind of player. I do the little things. You know? I I led my team in all five major stack categories at at Iowa State University.
1:52:22 So I do a little bit of every I'll do whatever the coach needs me to do. I'll do whatever the the the girls need me to do. I think the WNBA could come out and make a definitive statement about about guys with with a pair of balls playing in the in the women's association.
1:52:35 But, you know, hey, that that that'd be
1:52:38 that'd be probably too much like right. So and I don't wanna be discriminated against. No. I want I want fair treatment.
1:52:45 I'm a black,
1:52:46 I'm a young black, hopefully,
1:52:49 United States senator,
1:52:51 that that like that would like a fair chance to to participate as a sometimes identifying as a transgender woman,
1:52:58 athlete.
1:53:00 Yeah. Like the, the his delivery was good on that one. Royce is cool, man. I dig that. And the latest from the WNBA,
1:53:09 because, of course, they're like, oh, jeez. Now what?
1:53:12 Is well, this is still a a nuanced topic, Larry. It's nuanced.
1:53:17 Nuance? Yeah. Okay. Whether it's a dude
1:53:21 with balls or whether it's a female for the WNBA,
1:53:25 it is still
1:53:27 nuanced. This next clip here is the original guy, Ines Cantor Freedom. He was the first one that came out.
1:53:33 And so I've got, I think, like, the first twenty seconds or so is his
1:53:38 statement saying he wants to play in the WNBA
1:53:40 followed immediately
1:53:42 by
1:53:43 Steven A. Smith in his reaction.
1:53:46 After careful consideration and reviewing the current eligibility guidelines, I am officially declaring myself a WNBA prospect.
1:53:53 If simply declaring who you are is all that's required, then I meet every single requirement necessary to compete in the WNBA.
1:54:00 So you see what Ines Canto had to say. Right? You see how much of a mess this is becoming. Right? Everybody wanna act like, my goodness. We don't wanna hate on trans. We don't wanna hate on trans folks. That's not what that's about. Anybody who's hating on them should be ashamed of themselves. The WNBA,
1:54:15 the NBA, and everybody else in between is absolutely right where they talk about not violating people's civil rights and liberties, not being hateful,
1:54:23 not engaging in hate in any way, shape, form, or fashion, whether verbally,
1:54:28 physically, or otherwise. We all know that. But what Anita's cancer is pointing to is about competition.
1:54:35 So for somebody to transition from male to female
1:54:39 and for folks to act like it would be okay for them to participate in the WNBA
1:54:44 is ridiculous.
1:54:45 And when you have athletes from the WNBA
1:54:48 saying that they're looking out for and speaking up on behalf of girls,
1:54:54 because it would clearly be an unfair advantage
1:54:57 to a trans athlete
1:54:59 over people born female.
1:55:02 What's the problem? What's the problem? We gotta have common sense.
1:55:06 And yes, Enes Kanter is going a bit too far, but he's right to do so to make a point. And Royce White, former NBA player,
1:55:14 now a conservative pundit, he's right too because he's trying to make a point. Certain things are beyond ridiculous,
1:55:20 and you gotta call it out
1:55:21 just to send the message. Do you get it now?
1:55:25 Are you sure you wanna continue this subject? Are you sure you wanna continue on this path? Sure you don't wanna be political pawns? Fine. Then understand that the WNBA
1:55:34 is for girls and people born female and leave it at that and stop acting like you don't know. Otherwise, there'll be a lot more Enes Canters,
1:55:42 and we all know y'all don't want that.
1:55:44 Yeah. But I'm not sure they don't want that. I mean, that's the weird thing with whatever's going on
1:55:49 Yeah. At the WNBA.
1:55:51 This is a just a really quick clip from the head coach
1:55:55 of the Indiana. I just wanna say that was I really enjoyed listening to Stephen a Smith there because he was talking, not screaming. He's hit and miss. He is Well, that was that was actually that was very good. It was very good. He says he needs to stay that course. I'm sorry for the interruption. Mellow out that delivery rather than going the Yeah. Well, well, well, well, let me let me let me tell you, Larry. Let me tell you this.
1:56:19 That's very good. You got it, man. He goes he goes from the quiet to the loud, the quiet to the loud.
1:56:25 He is working the crowd all the time. This is the coach of the Indiana fever, which is the team with Sophie Cunningham and with Caitlin Clark.
1:56:33 And when she was asked about this particular
1:56:39 conundrum about, well, men and women's sports, her answer was maybe,
1:56:44 possibly
1:56:45 the dumbest thing I've heard so far in this whole ordeal.
1:56:50 What is your stance on men or athletes who test as biological male participating in women's sports? What's your personal stance? Yeah. I mean, I'm
1:56:59 I don't know that I would say that I'm educated enough from a scientific standpoint.
1:57:03 I don't ever believe that exclusion is an answer. I just don't.
1:57:07 She is not educated enough in the scientific standpoint to understand the difference between a male and a female. Head coach, Indiana fever.
1:57:16 She must be friends with that supreme court justice who couldn't say what a woman was. Yes. Right? Yeah. It's the same thing. I mean, I saw a was either a meme or somebody posted the other day that if somebody would have told you ten years ago that the biggest argument going around the country would be whether a man what is a man and what is a woman? Nobody would believe it.
1:57:37 It's incredible.
1:57:39 I I know how we can take advantage of this, Darren. We're gonna go to the WNBA, I could play. Even with one eye, I could play. You you could. Absolutely. I'm sure you do very well. But I'm thinking maybe what we need to do is propose
1:57:51 Adam C. Curry. He is six foot five. So am I. He's a very yours you are too. Yeah. And that would and imagine what it do suddenly, you know, these podcast guys are they they want in now. And one of them is, you know I mean, holy that that would be sensational. What a play. The towers of power coming to you right from the WNBA.
1:58:10 Yes. Yes. Yes. And just to prove
1:58:14 how deeply ingrained
1:58:16 in identity politics that the WNBA
1:58:19 is,
1:58:21 the coach, which we just heard from from the Indiana fever, there was a
1:58:25 flagrant foul called on Sophie Cunningham who is now getting
1:58:30 the crap beat out of her just like Caitlin Clark has had. I I saw that. That was infuriating, man. Yeah. The
1:58:37 foul was up to the level where the player was ejected.
1:58:43 Mhmm. The Indiana fever, the coach that is on Sophie's team, the woman that got mauled,
1:58:51 was like, well, you know, I guess it was the right call, but I don't think it was intentional.
1:58:57 Like, sure. Sure. It wasn't intentional.
1:58:59 But the
1:59:00 player
1:59:02 that fouled her so hard, she was ejected,
1:59:06 went immediately to social media.
1:59:09 And do you know what she posted on social media?
1:59:12 Tell me. White privilege.
1:59:15 Oh. Because Sophie's white, and this girl's black. This is how down the rabbit hole
1:59:21 these folks in the WNBA are, and nobody ever cared about the WNBA.
1:59:26 Let's be honest.
1:59:27 No. Until Caitlin Clark got there. But it's a very good example of,
1:59:33 you know, the culture war that is going on right now. Yes. Yes. Yes. It is. And it's hilarious to me that you have w,
1:59:41 NBA guys now going, hey. Well, I I'd like to play.
1:59:45 Well, you and Adam have to be next. They're let him in. I gotta I wanna find out what kind of a fun that could be.
1:59:51 Mhmm. But since people say, you know, we don't go after the right wingers enough, here is a clip from Megan Kelly where I think she's being a total bitch.
2:00:00 K. Caitlin Clark was directly asked to speak on it, and she was cowardly.
2:00:06 She refused to do it.
2:00:08 It is one thing to inject
2:00:11 politics
2:00:12 into your sport where they don't belong, like Colin Kaepernick
2:00:16 kneeling in the middle of professional football games. It's quite another when little girls are getting the shit kicked out of them in their sport, and you are the most famous woman
2:00:27 in women's basketball,
2:00:29 and you're directly asked as the issue rears its head in your sport,
2:00:34 and you punt on it.
2:00:36 You won't say anything.
2:00:38 You'd rather let the 12 year olds handle it. F that.
2:00:43 Big words from, Megan for trying to get in the
2:00:48 shoes of a Caitlin Clark who is already getting the crap kicked out of her by the other women in the league. Yes.
2:00:56 And if she doesn't want to make a statement,
2:01:00 that's America,
2:01:01 baby. She doesn't have to get political.
2:01:04 No, she doesn't. No. You know, so to be here and be like, no, she's in, you know, I just don't even understand
2:01:13 the insanity
2:01:15 that this is where we are now, that you have to. I mean, I'm tired of people that are like you, not only do you have to like support us or believe that we're right, but you have to now come out and publicly
2:01:27 say something, you're getting called out. I think Megan's forgetting, you know, that this is a free country.
2:01:33 And Yeah. That
2:01:35 you know, and that this woman is getting the crap kicked out of her on a daily basis. It's Victor it was a great
2:01:42 ten, twelve minutes. Victor Davis Hanson did the other day.
2:01:46 Check it out on YouTube talking about this, but he's like the identity politics in the WNBA,
2:01:52 very interesting because it seems that it is
2:01:56 a
2:01:57 majority
2:01:58 black players and also a majority lesbian,
2:02:01 and you have Caitlin Clark
2:02:04 and now Sophie Cunningham
2:02:06 who are straight white girls
2:02:08 Mhmm. That
2:02:10 all of a sudden are the most popular
2:02:13 people in the league and are now even though these other players
2:02:18 have gone from literally the change because Caitlin Clark hitting and the amount of people that are watching the WNBA,
2:02:26 they've gone from having to fly coach
2:02:28 to being able to fly private.
2:02:31 All of their contracts have gone up.
2:02:34 All making more money, but they hate her
2:02:38 because she doesn't look like them, because she doesn't share the same,
2:02:43 you know, sexual preference that they do. It is insane.
2:02:47 Yeah.
2:02:48 And I I I'm not a regular watcher of Megyn Kelly, but lately I kind of get the feeling very often she's just doing a pot stirring deal, you know? Maybe it was the Ozempic. Mean, something happened. Oh, did she Ozempic herself too? Yeah. I think so. Mean I there was a change that was pretty quick at one point.
2:03:06 But I mean that's just speculation, that is just from the producers mode as John
2:03:11 and Adam would always say, just looking just
2:03:14 strictly from a producer's mode where it will comment upon
2:03:18 the way Megan's an amateur. She's an amateur compared to Ariana Grande. I know. God. The girl needs a hamburger, man. I'm telling you. That that girl needs that girl needs professional attention. I mean, she's getting into the Karen Carpenter zone. I mean, really, that's that's no joke. It's sad. It is because she's got talent. She can sing. Tremendous talent. Yeah.
2:03:37 I mean, you may not like her music, but she can actually sing without all of the, you know, auto tune and all of that. Sure. Very talented girl. It's very I mean, I I see these pictures. Like, oh my god. Wow. What are you doing? Well, how much is social media? Because they are being judged on a minute by minute basis. And you and I will read
2:03:55 at some point some of the reviews of us doing the show. Adam was very kind. A lot of people seem to like what we're doing, but there are some that have been vicious. No. Nobody could For for Larry and I, it's kinda like, hey. Did see this one? Oh, yeah. Did you see this? And it's funny, but for somebody like Ariana Grande, I mean, the negativity might actually
2:04:16 Maybe. Cause a problem. And, you know, oh, no. I gotta I gotta be I gotta be perfect. I gotta achieve whatever the goal is.
2:04:24 In this social media with kids that do nothing but sit at home on their screens rather than going out and having
2:04:31 conversations
2:04:32 with their friends and not worried about what anybody outside of their little group
2:04:37 cared about. I mean, that's I didn't have the
2:04:41 ability to see that until the Internet rolled around. And by the time the Internet rolled around, I mean, it really became
2:04:47 prevalent. You know, I was already in my thirties. So by that point,
2:04:51 you have a whole different, skin on you to take, the Sure. You know, the people that are going to be haters, but I it's horrible. I mean, I don't have kids, so a lot of people like, oh, you shouldn't even comment.
2:05:04 But if you can see it, it's dangerous. It's bad. Very dangerous. It's very so much so. You know, I think Adam had a great phrase for
2:05:12 what do you say? This sort sort of like the
2:05:15 it wasn't chemically or so, digitally induced autism.
2:05:19 Yeah.
2:05:19 And I absolutely
2:05:21 know that for a fact because I you know, back in the day in school and and my kids were in school in Los Angeles,
2:05:27 there were several kids I knew
2:05:30 that that the goddamn iPad was just basically stitched to the palms of their hands.
2:05:37 They never put it down. And by the time these kids were five, six years old, they basically I don't know whether they couldn't or wouldn't speak.
2:05:44 Wow. You know? Like, yeah.
2:05:47 Yeah. Like, what are you doing? Take the rip that out of that kid's paws. You know?
2:05:51 So yeah. Yeah. It's
2:05:54 it is what it is.
2:05:56 Yes. Again, parents, make your kids grow up without the technology as much as you can. I some people be like, it's impossible one. I don't think it's impossible. You can limit it. You can do a flip phone if you wanna feel like your kid can get ahold of you.
2:06:11 Yep. Do the flip phone. They don't need full access to everything at least until they're in high school. And even then, you want to be on top of them
2:06:20 and understand and explain you're gonna have to have those hard conversations. I mean, parents never wanna have, you know, the birds and the bees. It's always like, oh, maybe maybe I can wait. I don't wanna do it when they're 12. Yeah. But you gotta be on top of this stuff.
2:06:32 Give me an Etch A Sketch. That's the answer.
2:06:35 Well, those used to I used to be like, that's what I had. I know. I know, man. It's like, turn one knob, turn the other knob. I know there's there's, like, at least three No Agenda artists right now, like, etch and sketch out the artwork we're gonna need. Could do anything but dot an I. That was it. That was it. Can't skip. You'd have to be really good to skip.
2:06:53 Now you've got one more here. I've got one more. What is there a Forget forget that one. We'll save that for for next time. Mine. Good old Stevie Miller, but I'm gonna It
2:07:02 it's it's it's there's no shelf life to it. It'll be just as good next time. So Well, this one for anybody that has listened to Planet Rage,
2:07:11 you will you will recognize this horrible AI tune.
2:07:43 I'd like to congratulate president Trump on becoming the first US leader to lose a war.
2:07:51 Iran makes a deal alright,
2:07:53 not with Trump, but with Oman.
2:07:56 They now jointly control the Strait Of Hormuz and Trump and The US.
2:08:01 We can pay the effing toll.
2:08:05 Cash only.
2:08:07 There didn't used to be a toll. Now there's a toll.
2:08:10 Big l for Trump.
2:08:13 Trump, an American president, has lost a war. I'm so tired of all the winning, so let's try all the losing.
2:08:21 Yes. The Countdown podcast
2:08:23 is back.
2:08:24 Glad you noticed after eighty eight days of rest and recovery.
2:08:28 Yeah. I just wanted to say eighty eight. Eighty eight? Yes. Please.
2:08:32 Thank you. And we have Trump losing in Iran. Abdul El Sayad winning in Michigan and immediately going on the offensive, throwing punches at the Republican.
2:08:40 The bigger picture about how Trump is making pollution and death by climate change great again, the failures of Maggie Haberman and the times,
2:08:49 and the Tony Fauci hearing,
2:08:51 or
2:08:52 the many faces of Laura Ingraham.
2:08:56 And you know what I mean.
2:08:59 Oh, on the Thursday Countdown podcast, wherever you podcast, and the full video version, me on camera for an hour.
2:09:07 I don't know if that's a great selling point now on YouTube.
2:09:11 No. It's not. It's not a great selling point.
2:09:14 I am so glad you did that. And what great timing on Keith's part. I think some in some way, like, we're magnetically linked, we three.
2:09:22 Back after almost three months because he started having A fib,
2:09:27 and his doctor told him that he should cut down on the
2:09:30 on the anger. But I I doubt he's one that can
2:09:34 cut down on the anger. I don't he doesn't seem like he could.
2:09:37 But he's a better doctor than Scott Labeto does, really. Well, he got him before
2:09:43 the
2:09:44 before the true. So it's it's good to hear Keith's voice again. I'm glad he's around.
2:09:49 And let's let's let's I wanna give full credit.
2:09:52 That, that composition
2:09:54 is all Darren O'Neil. He's not doing the singing. Got No. Bad AI. But
2:10:00 man, that's be that became an absolute classic
2:10:03 on planet rage. People always wanted to hear that. Keith the Queef. And and you did several iterations, but that's that's the best one. That's really great. Again, we learned from No Agenda. People like and then all of a sudden, you create something like that, and they're like, oh, no. You gotta keep playing that. Yeah. How these things happen, we'll never know. We're just glad they do.
2:10:23 I'm gonna show my support by donating to No Agenda. Imagine all the people who could do that. Oh, yeah. That'd be fab.
2:10:37 Yeah. This is a podcast
2:10:39 that is out there. It's Value4Value,
2:10:42 and sir Chris Wilson sent this out to you for the Value4Value.
2:10:46 Let me listen to this. This is your amygdala. Shut up, slave.
2:10:50 This is the mainstream media. We are concerned about the trouble and training the irresponsible.
2:10:54 One-sided view story is playing in our country. This is your amygdala without no agenda.
2:11:01 Any
2:11:02 questions?
2:11:04 Yes. It's donate. Donate. Donate. Time, talent, and treasure.
2:11:08 There's no ads. There's no corporate money. There is no paywall. There's no Patreon. There's no subscription you can't figure out how to get out of.
2:11:16 We highly recommend you get a podcasting two point o app. You can get it at podcastapps.com,
2:11:21 then you can get the bat signal when we go live.
2:11:24 You can always know when we go live. You know when there's a new show. If you laugh, you cry, you're better than cats. Of course, we are. Where else are you gonna hear Billy Idol making out with, Julie Brown? I mean, that's yearly.
2:11:36 Don't only here.
2:11:38 If you got any value out of the show, you get to go over into noagendadonations.com,
2:11:44 and whatever number hits you, whatever number means something to you, numerology is a big part of this. For some people, $5 is a lot of money. Some people might throw 50, some might throw 500 or 5,000.
2:11:55 It all depends on how much value that you got out of the show.
2:12:01 And let's see. How many people do we have live here in the Troll Room? Fifteen twenty. Let's
2:12:09 see. That is seven seventy one now with a peak of eleven eleven o three. Everybody wanted to hear the Podfather. Hey. That's okay, man. Yeah. Eleven o three. Not bad. They always run. Like, right when they're like, oh, no. They're gonna talk about donations. We gotta run. The trolls are afraid
2:12:25 of donations. I don't know why. Trolls, just go to noagendadonations.com.
2:12:29 You will feel good.
2:12:30 They will. In that way, you'll know. Get your podcasting two point o app. We have to acknowledge that one of the ways you can show some value is by doing artwork for the show,
2:12:41 and we were totally remiss on the last show to not mention Mike Riley's
2:12:45 beautiful artwork of the
2:12:48 water tower with the Iranian lock. It is so beautiful to see Mike Riley back. I know, Larry, you didn't follow the art as closely as I did, which was, well, way too close. It was beautiful, though. It was. I was throwing out so much artwork, and they Adam had to get me out of the competition just so the other artists can come back
2:13:06 and step up. And Mike Riley, a true artist. He's published books of his work. He is a
2:13:12 cartoonist who does this thing without the AI assistance.
2:13:17 Oh, wow. Which makes him even more impressive. If you want if you like that and you like to find out more, just go over to mikeriley.lol,
2:13:26 which is a great domain.
2:13:28 It is. Now on the last show, we had, a few different things to choose from,
2:13:35 and I'll pull this here up as well. But the one we chose
2:13:39 came from Parker Poly, a Black Knight,
2:13:42 and it was of the JCD
2:13:45 Buzzkill
2:13:46 shaver,
2:13:47 which
2:13:49 Adam and John taught me always
2:13:51 go
2:13:52 with the joke,
2:13:54 and this was the perfect joke.
2:13:57 It was. The
2:13:59 shaver from the story that Adam told that he would turn on JCD's
2:14:03 microphone.
2:14:04 And, you know, he might be eating breakfast, or he might be shaving. And we're like, what?
2:14:09 Yeah.
2:14:10 Who's shaving right before the show with an electric razor, which now makes you wonder
2:14:15 what's inside that Heil p r 40 that he was using. There has to be some
2:14:21 Trimmings. There's gotta be some, yeah, there's gotta be some trimmings in there.
2:14:26 There is no doubt about it.
2:14:28 Oh, enough that thunder going on loud. See, just a fair warning. Oh, really? Okay. Yeah. The area here lately, anytime
2:14:37 it rains, it seems like the power goes out. So, hopefully, I won't disappear, but there were
2:14:42 a plethora of interesting pieces. We liked Tyler Brown's
2:14:46 Fauci in the orange jumpsuit, but that was too depressing.
2:14:50 A little bit, but it was good. Yeah. The
2:14:53 one from comic strip blogger,
2:14:56 which had
2:14:57 two men and a woman in the middle and said O'Neil Blydner and Curry. I I we didn't know why you made Larry a blonde woman. Because the the the trans Larry.
2:15:07 It's gotta be it. Right? Let's get you so you can get into the WNBA now. What why
2:15:12 not? We'll make it a threesome. Yeah. Is there is there a is there a women's podcasting network? I don't know. What are we I don't know. What are we trying to do? The
2:15:21 Tyler Brown, the grim Fauci fairy tale, I thought that was
2:15:27 cute, but just it didn't have
2:15:29 the oomph
2:15:31 that the Parker Holly
2:15:34 piece had.
2:15:35 Yeah. Although I did like Ness works the Larry and Derry because everybody's gonna start Yes. That was funny. Yeah. And Scaramanga, I mean, you're getting closer
2:15:44 with the with the cheesecake.
2:15:47 When the when the thunder's coming through the noise gate, you know.
2:15:51 Yeah. You know the weather's fun. So
2:15:54 thank you to the Parker Polly and everybody who has sent artwork in. I see there's already some interesting Mike Riley pieces. Good to have him back named Kenny Ben was back, comic strip blogger. It's like the old
2:16:07 art crowd is back in the days.
2:16:10 Yeah. And we very much appreciate that, but we also appreciate the people that come in financially,
2:16:17 and these are real credits.
2:16:19 If you come in at three 33 or over, you are an executive producer 200 or over associate executive producer. They are indeed
2:16:28 real credits that you can use on your IMDB
2:16:31 page, and Larry's IMDB page is very interesting as well.
2:16:35 God. I haven't even looked at that in years. I'll have to take a peek. Gotta update it. Make sure it's alright. I never do that stuff. I just leave it to the fates. Yeah. Never.
2:16:46 I'm
2:16:47 telling you this is the the thunder's going good here, but we have a a bunch of people to thank today. Me too.
2:16:53 And, I mean, I'll start off here with our buddy,
2:16:56 Ron v forty two coming in from Hoffman Estates, Illinois. I met him at the only meetup that I've gone to so far.
2:17:03 Nice. Sat across from Ron. He's totally not a spook or anything like that. Totally not doing government work.
2:17:09 Okay. Nothing to worry about whatsoever. He says, in the morning, everyone at No Agenda,
2:17:14 Ron V here, and I bet either Darren O or Larry will be reading this. Oh, he's like karma karma act too. He can Yeah.
2:17:21 I just wanna state that today, Sunday, August 9, marks my forty years my wife has put up with me. Well, congratulations.
2:17:29 Congratulations
2:17:30 on that, Ron. Wow.
2:17:32 His donation is $404.
2:17:35 Did I say that? Page not found. Page not found. That's what I thought. Yeah. Good. Because a marriage like this can't be located anywhere else in the wild. Forty years and still not depreciated.
2:17:46 I'm not knight or dame territory yet, but I'm circling the round table. Congratulations. Give us a shout out. Tell my bride she married a legend. Please hold down the fort and keep No Agenda alive.
2:17:59 Oh, and one more thing,
2:18:01 boobs. Well,
2:18:03 Ron is the real deal, missus Ron. He is the real deal. You made a good choice
2:18:09 forty years ago. Congratulations.
2:18:11 A hell of a accomplishment there. Forty years. Yeah.
2:18:17 Vance,
2:18:18 Fallbrook,
2:18:19 California.
2:18:21 The amount is $3.03 3.
2:18:23 ITM,
2:18:24 everyone.
2:18:25 I was hit hit them. Oh, hit in the mouth, I guess. What am thinking? Of course. Hit in the mouth. Over a year ago by my friend John Buell and have been listening ever since. Please dedouche
2:18:35 me. JCD's passing hit me harder than I expected.
2:18:39 Thank you, and god bless you all. Thank you, Scott. You've
2:18:45 been dedouched.
2:18:49 Lady Butter's coming in with 30322
2:18:53 from Tiverton,
2:18:55 Rhode Island,
2:18:56 and says to the Dvorak family, Larry, Darren, and Adam, my donation comes with a spirit of gratitude and celebration
2:19:04 towards the people who impact our lives including all of you.
2:19:08 As I write this on bittersweet eight eight, I think about those we lose often leave unexpected signs.
2:19:16 Anado time. To honor Mimi, I finally ordered my own copy of too many eggs. It's a great book, and you can download it. You can order it. Toomanyeggs.com,
2:19:26 I believe. Of course, it was delivered
2:19:29 and sat outside unprotected during a Noah's Ark level downpour
2:19:34 while my husband was at work and I was out of state this week. I was convinced I'd come home to a waterlogged
2:19:41 mess inside the box, but instead the book was pristine.
2:19:45 Probably dumb luck, but I'd like to believe John's spirit helped ensure I can enjoy Mimi's work.
2:19:52 August is a bittersweet month for me too. Although the anniversary of my dad's passing comes this Thursday,
2:19:58 I also have my tenth wedding anniversary with sir knives to look forward to on 08/27.
2:20:04 Well, congratulations.
2:20:06 Congratulations.
2:20:08 She says, thanks for putting up with me for so long, my love.
2:20:11 In our own little New England JCD memorial meetup on the twenty ninth, Larry, we would be honored if you would even go over the border to little roadie for that.
2:20:22 Oh, wow. Otherwise, we hope to see you soon.
2:20:25 Whether those
2:20:27 we care about are still with us or not, we can always be thankful for them and celebrate the impact that they've had on our lives. For now, I'd just like to say thank you for reading my note. Thank you to the entire No Agenda community for your courage.
2:20:40 With so much love to all,
2:20:42 lady butters. Well, thank you, butters.
2:20:46 PS. Attached is the egg book on proud display alongside our obnoxiously large dictionary in honor of my fellow word nerd, JC D. Oh, and that's where it should be.
2:20:56 Yeah. And I gotta say, I know I have the great honor of knowing Lady Butters and Sir Knives. I've met them both and talked with them at length at a couple of meetups.
2:21:06 And they came all the way into Hagenham, Connecticut where they happen from
2:21:10 Rhode Island. And they are spectacular people.
2:21:13 She's a she's a complete
2:21:15 just a wonderful woman.
2:21:17 And sir Knives, I think, is a very dangerous guy. He may I get the feeling he's there's more to him than he's telling. He knows a lot of stuff, and he's a cool dude. So, this is this is a very cool thing. And if I can get over to, to your neck of the woods on the twenty ninth, that would be an honor. Thank you, lady buddy. Well, yeah, it sounds like you don't want Sir Knives mad at you.
2:21:37 Never. No. No. Alright.
2:21:41 Here we go. Manuka Gold,
2:21:43 Hudson, Florida.
2:21:45 $250
2:21:46 from the Manuka Gold family
2:21:48 enjoying the show. We're glad it kept going while Adam is on vacation because it would leave a big empty hole in our Thursdays and Sundays.
2:21:57 Darren and Larry, you're doing a great job, and we're so glad we found Planet Rage because of you two filling in. Hey. That's cool. Thank you. And I'm sure there are a lot of new listeners who came over from Planet Rage. We wanted to mention that at manukagold.com,
2:22:11 we sell specialty health and well-being products all made from manuka honey that is rare, a rare true miracle of nature. And starting now, we're giving away free travel size of our best selling pain relief I'm sorry, pain relief gel with every purchase over $45.
2:22:29 And No Agenda listeners can still get the gift and free shipping with their 20% off code, so do not hesitate to use the code TREASURE
2:22:39 at checkout.
2:22:40 Yeah. The code TREASURE, and I will say they
2:22:43 offered to send a box over to me and you, which you've just gotta get them your address, and they send it out, and my wife already is like, oh, this is the best cream I've ever used.
2:22:53 And the straight honey,
2:22:56 I tried it, and it was the
2:22:58 the most and again, this is gonna sound like you paid advertisement, and it's not, but it was the most
2:23:04 powerful tasting honey. Usually, you know, you get a very just sugar sweet and then a little honey taste.
2:23:11 Yes. This is totally the opposite. It's still sweet, but the honey punch
2:23:16 is, like, 33%
2:23:18 more than anything I've ever

2:25:53 But what John and Adam have created is bigger than just them. Because of this podcast, I've made friendships and connections with members of this community.
2:26:01 John's legacy lives on, and the torches carry forth by Larry and Darren,
2:26:06 the boys over at the Millennial Media Offensive, Nick the Rat, and many others inspired by
2:26:12 the No Agenda show. I'll continue to support this show. The value it's brought me is immeasurable.

2:51:18 And now we have some meetup reports. Well, we have plenty
2:51:24 of meetup reports.
2:51:38 Alright. Let me get the audio. We have got 10 meetups. The JCD
2:51:41 memorial meetups were plentiful,
2:51:44 which is beautiful,
2:51:46 and all of the
2:51:48 folks that sent in the meetup reports. I'm expecting a lot more on Thursday. There were a few that were worried
2:51:54 about the audio. Never worry about the audio. It is about the spirit of the thing.
2:51:59 Mhmm. And first, we have the Kellapuya
2:52:04 brewing in Albany,
2:52:06 Oregon.
2:52:08 And they said it was a great crowd. The tone was somber, but they still had a great time
2:52:13 discussing our favorite memories
2:52:15 of JCD that, from
2:52:18 sir m mad son of the Mid Valley. This is sir m mad son of the Mid Valley coming to you from the Albany, Oregon meetup at Kalapuya Brewing. It was a great time had by all. I'm so passing around the phone. ITM,

2:54:07 Then, up next on the list, the local five twelve meetup put together by sir Scott, the Black Viscount of the No Agenda Armory said there were close to 40 people. He clipped it as tight as he could, but it's a bit long. That's okay. He says, wish that Adam and Tina were here. Please give my love and prayers
2:54:25 to the Dvorak family.
2:54:27 And, here's what that one sounds like. This is Viscount Scott of the Army doing

2:57:45 Adam, everybody has your back. Baron here.
2:57:49 Forty five years of KCD was not enough for me. See you in the afterlife, KC D.
2:57:54 Alright. Gotcha, man. My name is Weston.
2:57:57 I'm a bartender at Doc's. I'm taking care of the No Agenda Group. Seem like some good guys taking care of me. Cool group of people to meet, man.
2:58:13 Man, I think if we do ever do a meetup, it should be in Texas.
2:58:16 Definitely. They've got the spirit big time. They're having way too much fun.
2:58:22 Yeah. Like, a lot of names that I recognize in there. Thanks for a recording of things for sending that in, and thanks for paying tribute to JCD. Up next is
2:58:32 the Memphis JCD tribute meetup that was put together by Commodore Tech Guy Ty.
2:58:38 In the morning, no Agenda Nation. This is Commodore Tech Guy Ty at High Cotton Brewing. We're at the Memphis JCD

2:59:28 the morning.
2:59:30 Yeah. A lot of closure going on all around the world.
2:59:34 Definitely.
2:59:35 Including up next year, we have the Perth No Agenda producers JCD tribute meetup. They say our sincere condolences for John's passing.
2:59:44 Our meetup was a mix of celebrating John's life with fond memories and laughs as well as a somber tribute to a man we all respected and admired. Stay strong, brother. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. And,
3:00:01 they included a photo and two of the guys wearing the
3:00:04 photo of JCD
3:00:06 that giving the,
3:00:08 salute
3:00:09 with big text on the top that said, it's a scam. I love it. No Agenda Shop. You need to make those. Those were cool.
3:00:16 Yes. JC,
3:00:19 in the morning, we're really gonna miss you. You're the uncle that I never had.
3:00:24 I thank you for the wisdom.
3:00:26 Thank you for the guidance. Thank you for the many, many stories.
3:00:29 We're gonna miss you, brother.
3:00:31 And to Adam and the family,
3:00:34 all the best, and we're all gonna support you. No Agenda thrown through. Take care.
3:00:40 It's the greatest scam in the universe.
3:00:44 Dvorak,
3:00:45 the world is the worst place without you in it. May the slaves aspire to your greatness.
3:00:50 Come on, mate. Come back to us, John. It's all a scam. You were right.
3:00:55 In the morning thanks, Adam and JC there. In the morning, this is sir Richard The Lands down under Mimi, Adam, and family. Love is lit. This is bullcrap.
3:01:06 In the morning for John C. Dvorak, what a legend. Here
3:01:11 we are in Fremantle, Western Australia
3:01:14 on a cold, wet day
3:01:17 in the morning. Oh, in the morning,
3:01:19 very much sad about the times that we're in. Jay's at CD picked a good time to exit
3:01:25 and, commissioned cervations to Adam and and
3:01:29 families and Mimi and families and, yeah, made the show go on in some format in the morning.
3:01:35 In the morning, Mimi, we're so sorry for you and your family. The loss of JCD must be so hard for you right now.
3:01:43 But, Adam, we feel for you too. We're here celebrating
3:01:46 JCD's
3:01:47 life with a great group of in the morning people, and we love you and in the morning from Australia.
3:01:54 In the morning, this is producer Vangeli.
3:01:57 I just wanna say in memory of John, our captain, my captain,
3:02:01 led us through different ways of thinking. He led us through difficult times,
3:02:07 and we have all the fondest of memories. And this meetup
3:02:11 is in special dedication.
3:02:13 So everything that you've done, you've left the world a much better place.
3:02:17 In the morning,
3:02:19 it's a scam.
3:02:23 You're not wrong about that.
3:02:25 Those Aussies, they're cool, man. I like They know how to party too. Just like Texas.
3:02:29 They do. Yeah.
3:02:31 Next up, Hamilton, Ontario, the JCD tribute meetup. Three of us had a small but very enjoyable meetup at the Fool And Flagging Pub in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
3:02:42 Attaches the audio. Big thank you to sir Dwight the Knight
3:02:46 for organizing it and it was sent in by sir Chris.

3:03:16 And, yeah, we'll remember you as long as we listen to this show. Thank you. And finally, this is sir Chris, also Hamilton, Ontario.
3:03:25 Rest in power, JCD. Thank you for your courage. And just one final question. Is this gonna delay the vinegar book?
3:03:32 It's being rolled into another Dvorak family cookbook from what I understand. That's cool. I didn't know that. If what I heard correctly during one of those
3:03:42 of the tribute shows, if anybody hasn't gotten through
3:03:46 the
3:03:47 longer of the tribute shows, they are well worth it. Just break them up. A lot of great stories, lot of great
3:03:53 information.
3:03:54 And yeah, the vinegar book was real. It was just, I think it
3:03:57 was Mimi that said it was more of a pamphlet
3:04:00 though than a book. I heard that. I remember her saying that. Yeah. It's like it makes sense. I mean, it's vinegar. Go go to get too many eggs,toomanyeggs.com
3:04:07 start there
3:04:09 and then, move on. The next one is Wilmington,
3:04:12 Delaware remembering JCD meetup.

3:05:01 the Morning, Adam, sir, Zulbott made a little hiccup on it. Oh, we got I took care of that. I did the editing, so you don't have to. Oh, wow.

3:07:43 sir European Steven,
3:07:45 as my neighbors call me Steven. It's actually Stefan.
3:07:49 But,
3:07:50 yeah,

3:12:57 RIP
3:12:58 JCD.
3:13:01 Man, what an amazing bunch of meetup reports.
3:13:04 Really?
3:13:05 We know we'll have a bunch of them on the next show because there were a lot of the eight eight meetup reports. I mean, hey. If you can edit them, that's great, but
3:13:14 we're not judging you based upon sound
3:13:18 quality here. No.
3:13:20 And it's just beautiful to hear everybody
3:13:23 remembering John. I mean, I don't know. It it's always interesting
3:13:27 when somebody like John passes if he realized
3:13:31 the impact that he had on people.
3:13:34 Yeah. And I he doesn't seem like he had a big ego or anything. I think he knew. Not at all. No. I think he might even be a little surprised by the Yeah. The massive amount of outpouring because he was everybody's,
3:13:48 you know, uncle or father figure or somebody. It's like, I'd go to JCD for advice.
3:13:54 Sure.
3:13:55 And, of course, he always ripped my artwork on the show.
3:13:58 And then on the in the emails, I would trade. He was always so complimentary. It's like, and people were I mean, although Adam was, dissing me at the time you and I start doing shows, you know, like, what's why is Adam mad at you? It's like, it's a bit. I know. It was funny, though. And I bumped the microphone. I didn't mean to do that. You're copying me. It's Jason. It's the spirit of JCD. There are a bunch of meetups upcoming,
3:14:21 including a bunch today.
3:14:23 Let's see. We have the In the Morning Virginia, and thank you for your courage. JCD meetup at the Gloucester,

3:17:40 With the Dame G money in there. It's a day you know, connection is protection. Adam says it a lot. It is true. And
3:17:54 I need to get better at doing ISO as I always forget to do the ISO's. I'm always looking for the clips and then forget to do the ISOs, but I did have a couple one.
3:18:04 This is
3:18:07 Mickey Rourke. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Sure. Whatever you say, boss. I mean, there's there's that.

3:18:22 Darren O'Neil, man. He just he has it. He's got that magic.
3:18:25 There you go.
3:18:27 Uh-huh. So I'll let Larry pick that one. Which one do you like the most? Oh, I think it's gotta be yours. We gotta well, we gotta find John C. Dvorak crapping
3:18:36 on your song that he's That goes back a few years.
3:18:42 Somebody's gotta find that they gotta bing it, they gotta do it
3:18:45 and
3:18:47 help it. Mean, a couple of people have come through with some other alternatives
3:18:51 for opening show music and all that, but we need we
3:18:56 need a little refresh on some things that are very specific for John and Adam.
3:19:02 Know, if you can do that for us, it is
3:19:05 very much appreciated.
3:19:07 That is going to do it for another edition of the best damn podcast in the universe.
3:19:14 According to Bembro's in the backroom,
3:19:17 Coming up after this on your, Mighty No Agenda stream,
3:19:22 just two good old boys again? Isn't, like, twice in two shows? Interesting.
3:19:27 I didn't know Bembro's really liked sir Jean and sir dude named Ben named Ben.
3:19:32 That's something else. That is surprising. I was not aware of that. It's an interesting show. I mean, Gene tells me
3:19:38 it's an interesting show. I haven't listened recently,
3:19:42 but he says it's a very interesting show. And would would Gene lie?
3:19:46 No.
3:19:47 Don't don't go out in the limb on that one.
3:19:52 End of show mixes.
3:19:54 We have some from Gary and Gilroy. We've got Perth, No Agenda producers.

3:20:14 And from pretentious Connecticut, I'm Larry Blydner.
3:20:18 It is always gonna be pretentious, isn't it? Join us think so. On Thursday,
3:20:24 and remember us at noagendadonations.com.
3:20:26 Until then, hooey hooey. Thank you for your courage. Adios,
3:20:30 mofos,
3:20:31 and such. You know? Such. We do even have a show
3:20:35 mix here kind of from, CSB.
3:20:38 Howdy
3:20:39 Irish
3:20:40 Americans,
3:20:41 Darren and Larry.
3:20:43 I would like to tell two stories about John C. Dvorak.
3:20:48 Story number one.
3:20:50 Many years ago
3:20:51 when Dvorak was working for MIVIO and
3:20:54 Adam Curry was his boss,
3:20:57 I wanted to interview Dvorak for his pod for my podcast, which was about tech.
3:21:03 Dvorak didn't want to do it, so I contacted other
3:21:08 Curry and Adam Curry told Dvorak to do it and Dvorak did it. It was done over Skype.
3:21:14 It was fun.
3:21:15 Story number two,
3:21:18 I was chatting with Dvorak over
3:21:20 direct messages
3:21:22 on Twitter,
3:21:23 and Dvorak told me that his mother was
3:21:26 born in Poland and she had Polish passport.
3:21:30 And I told Dvorak
3:21:32 to get Polish citizenship,
3:21:34 which is equal to European Union citizenship
3:21:37 with freedom of movement to EU countries and after countries like Norway
3:21:44 and Switzerland.
3:21:45 And Dvorak was angry that I suggested it, and he blocked me on Twitter for several years.
3:21:52 These
3:21:53 are two stories from me, comics tribe blogger.
3:21:56 Thank you for your service.
3:22:10 A restless mind that never played the game.
3:22:14 With dry wit wisdom and that knowing smile,
3:22:19 you challenged easy answers all the while.
3:22:38 No Agenda
3:22:40 producers,
3:22:42 we stand
3:22:44 today
3:22:47 Honoring
3:22:48 John
3:22:49 with gratitude
3:22:52 that won't fade away.
3:22:57 More than a podcast,
3:23:00 more than sharp debate.
3:23:02 You taught us all to think instead of taking every bait.
3:23:07 Though the studio
3:23:09 feels quieter and one chair is bare,
3:23:12 your humor and your insight still linger
3:23:18 in
3:23:19 the air.
3:23:24 So here's our final
3:23:27 toast in
3:23:30 the morning
3:23:32 once again,
3:23:35 your voice lives on.
3:23:44 We'll keep the questions coming, keep the skepticism
3:23:47 true
3:23:48 because that's the gift you left us and the word continues.
3:27:11 Last call.
3:27:13 Kilo Juliet six Lima November golf. This is k m four at LG.
3:28:07 Nothing heard.
3:28:09 John, godspeed, brother.
3:28:12 Seventy three's in the morning.
3:28:14 Thank you for your service. So, anyway so I I I still have an problem. I say, but nothing like Hillary. So there's a lot of uhs in there. There's so many uhs. There's no reason to edit it. Although, maybe I will now. But I have the ringer.
3:28:30 And so I'm gonna ring the bell, and we'll try to keep count. Ready? Yep.
3:28:34 Well, for that kind of money, you would too.
3:28:37 So,
3:28:39 so there's this guy, Patrick Seal. Then all of a sudden,
3:28:43 he wants to change the news and kill Whitney Houston.
3:28:46 So,
3:28:49 I wonder why I'm trying to And Mimi will be reaching out to you,
3:28:53 with information about your ring.
3:28:56 So,
3:28:57 I have a couple of ask Adams today, which are nice features. Oh, yeah. I'd love to do an ask Adam. Forget I even mentioned it. We don't want any of that. They're always meddling. We don't want that.
3:29:09 So, you noticed that Ron Paul came in a
3:29:12 really strong Very, very strong. Thanks, Apple. Calculator.
3:29:16 Yeah. So,
3:29:17 I thought this was interesting. There's a letter that went out. Fart jokes are great.
3:29:22 We need more fart jokes.
3:29:24 So
3:29:25 I'm sorry. Go ahead. Play the Nothing to do with the Chiners. Nothing to do with don't look over here.
3:29:31 So, we got a couple of good donations this week. Mailchimp. Mailchimp. Mailchimp. Mailchimp was burdened.
3:29:38 Alright. Alright. I say mailchimp a lot.
3:29:41 So,
3:29:42 I I got a couple of clips from this David Wohlman.
3:29:46 And these drone strikes are taking place in Balochistan.
3:29:49 I just want you to be informed.
3:29:51 That's all.
3:29:53 So,
3:29:54 yeah. You don't wanna be too informed. You don't want anyone thinking about what we're doing with the government. Quick. Switch the tracks. Yeah. Well, that's what they do. Yeah.
3:30:02 So, I've got a
3:30:05 clip that might lighten things up. No.
3:30:08 Just kidding. Just kidding.
3:30:11 So,
3:30:13 you're terrible. I
3:30:15 tried. There's
3:30:17 so many uhs. There's a lot of uhs in there.
3:30:40 Holly came from Miami, FLA.
3:30:45 From the state
3:30:46 but you can't say gay.
3:30:49 Teaching grade school's children, if I get him to draw her private parts, said, hey, baby,
3:30:55 take a walk on the child's side.
3:30:58 I said, hey, Disney,
3:31:00 Take a walk on the child's side.
3:31:12 Candy came
3:31:13 to the kindergarten
3:31:17 in the classroom showing all the kids her heart on.
3:31:21 But she never even stopped even when they called the cops. She said, hey, babe,
3:31:27 take a walk on the child's side.
3:31:30 I said, hey, comma, pizza. Take a walk on the child's side. And the people of color go No justice. No justice.
3:31:38 No
3:31:40 No peace. No justice.
3:32:03 President Joey
3:32:04 was just sniffing away.
3:32:07 Kitty's at the White House came to play.
3:32:12 A fondle here and a touch up there,
3:32:14 always sniffing children's head. He said, hey, babe.
3:32:18 Take a walk on the child's side.
3:32:20 I said, hey, Joe.
3:32:22 Take a walk on the child's side.
3:32:35 Sugarplum furry
3:32:36 hit the streets,
3:32:39 looking for anime and some teenage weebs.
3:32:44 Gave some kid at a department store a whole lot more than they'd buy them for. He said, hey babe,
3:32:50 take a walk on the child's side.
3:32:53 He said, hey Nickelodeon,
3:32:55 take a walk on the child's side.
3:33:07 Jackie,
3:33:08 who's just grooming away,
3:33:11 pretending to be a teen for just one day.
3:33:16 But I guess he had to get bashed. Honeypot would have helped that smash. He said, hey, babe.
3:33:22 Take a walk on the child's side.
3:33:25 He said, hey, CNN.
3:33:27 Take a walk on the child's side, and the wood chippers go.
3:33:44 Adios,
3:33:45 mofo. Dvorak
3:33:46 dot org slash n a.
3:33:51 Darren O'Neil, man. He just he has it. He's got that magic.

- In the morning, everyone at No Agenda, Ron V here, and I bet either Darren O or Larry will be reading this. I just wanna state that today, Sunday, August 9, marks my forty years my wife has put up with me. I'm not knight or dame territory yet, but I'm circling the round table. Give us a shout out. Tell my bride she married a legend. Please hold down the fort and keep No Agenda alive. Oh, and one more thing, boobs.

Please stay on the show. Great job, Daryl and Harry. I especially enjoyed Larry's disdain for commies. Good to meet you, brother. And, technically, this donation makes me a knight. If it pleases the council, I shall henceforth be known as sir Hasmaticus the second, knight and slave to the Lord Christ and keeper of dogs. You can also add far right white Christian nationalist.

- In 2022, I made my first donation of $88.88 in honor of JCD's anniversary and my two daughters' birthdays on August seventh and ninth, respectively. It seems appropriate to complete my knighthood by bookending it with another $88.88, including fees. I began listening to No Agenda shortly before the twenty twenty election in the midst of the Wuhan Pandemic. Since then, I haven't missed a show. I've also made some great friends via several No Agenda meetups. When I began listening, John would always star off the show with the Zephyr report, which just happened to be my high school mascot. Therefore, please knight me as sir Zephyr of the valley, defender of the lands of beer and cows. Also, please add my daughters, Allison Hahn, who turned 24 on 08/07, and Sarah Engel, who turns 28 today, 08/09, to the birthday list. Happy birthday to the best daughters a father could ask for. Finally, all my love and prayers to the Dvorak and Curry families. In the time of grief, the lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm thirty four eighteen.

-
Drink Mexican Coke
Mexican Coke made with real cane sugar tastes noticeably different and better than versions with high fructose corn syrup, and your body reacts differently to it. Available at Costco.
